Re: HELP - Item change - Dizzy sink

(So that Grandad doesn't immediately solve the puzzle!) X)
Too late Kalle, I've already got my hiking boots ready for walking on the moor :v2_dizzy_clapping:

Re: HELP - Item change - Dizzy sink

Kalle, I always use room 0,0 to put anything global in and don't include it as part of the 'map'. That way I know where stuff such as 'swapped' items and dynamic brushes used as status checks etc are, without having to check out the whole map whilst scratching my head :v2_dizzy_confused2: I can't he...

Re: Smooth Scrolling Demonstration

Simon, I think you're a bit too quick to thank vondes. Look at Andy's first post on this thread, the last paragraph is identical to what vondes has posted. Also vondes has done the same on another thread. My initial reaction the other day when I first read his posts was that he had just cut and past...

Re: HELP - Item change - Dizzy sink

Kalle, the easiest way to swap two items is to use a function devised by Jamie and put it in the util file. The 'old' and 'new' are just the items ID numbers, ie empty bottle = 111, full bottle = 112 (and they are the IDs in the ObjectsSetNames function in the game file). This way, you can use the R...

Re: Yolkfolk Status Update - March 2020

Official Games database: There have been some cleaning up to some of the pages, more especially the 'Notes' sections, fixing typos and minor grammar errors. For a second I thought that Frog'nHat had joined the team ...until I noticed that the sentence starts with 'There have been' rather than 'Ther...

Re: Game Hopping Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Dear players Grandad is a total (insert your own description here) as he forgot to delete the purple egg by the purple dragon when he was testing the secret prince puzzle for the bonus lives and points. I've sent version 1.1 to Adam, but I doubt if any current players will bother to scrap this easy ...

Re: Game Hopping Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Armorog: you need to use the 'third' method I mentioned earlier to switch worlds as one of the roofs will transport you to a higher level in the forest with Tarzan. Also, you need to have given the Crown of Zeffar to the rightful king's mum to be able to jump up on the paving stone in East Street to...

Re: Game Hopping Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

The Crown of Zeffar, the Sword of Justice and the wooden chalice are all in the fortress from the Amiga version of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy (world 3). The 'other' way of switching worlds is: jumping up into the roof of the huts belonging to Dizzy, Daisy and Dora  ENORMOUS HINT: Read the book in Gr...
