Grandad: "All the coloured buttons in that area are linked to the coloured buttons in the huts and won't work until the same coloured lever is pulled down to activate them ...and of course pushing the lever back up turns them off again"

I don't really understand - there are four huts with four different sequences of coloured circles. Pressing the grey buttons underneath plays short music clips. I'm not sure in what order I should be doing anything in this area.
I've got into three of the four huts in which I can pull a lever to reveal three numbers, and there are more coloured buttons connected to song clips. So what's the connection between the three areas?

In the entrance to the huts the four coloured 'balls' above the door show the order of the songs to be pressed - so a sequence of red, blue, green, yellow would indicate that the four buttons below would either play 'Little Red Rooster', 'Love Is Blue', 'Green Onions' or 'Big Yellow Taxi; your task is to press the buttons in the correct order to open the hut. I've set out the sequences below, but you'll still need to pull all the levers in the spinning maze.
ANSWER: hut1 - 3142, hut2 - 1324, hut3 - 3241, hut4 - 4312.

The buttons inside the huts are just obscure clues to the order in which the pictures of 'instruments' in the pyramid/temple area are pressed. So drums, piano, saxophone would indicate that the piano button is pressed before the saxophone button but after the drums button. However, still being a total poo, you have to press each 'instrument button' in the hut once or the relevant picture in the pyramid/temple won't be revealed. The correct order has been listed in earlier in the help thread.

The lever and buttons above the door are clues to solve the code puzzles in Anglers' Paradise.

The spinning maze...can anyone literally spell out for me what I'm supposed to do in this area, as I don't understand it or find it particularly enjoyable to even try to understand. But dammit I've got 38 coins, 39 fish and I want to catch the rest of them!
I've only found two of the totems so far and thus haven't got the last ornate key. I've only got into 3 of the huts. Is this an impediment to completing the spinning maze?

Yep! Worst ever maze ...originally I was going to leave all the walls 'brown' but decided to switch wall colours for the different 'levels' as this maze really is a bugger!

Solution: N = go through top door, S = go through bottom door, R = go east, L = go west.

Press brown button, N, pull green lever, R, R. get coin. L, press brown button, L, L, N, R, get coin, N, pull white lever, R, pull purple lever, L, S, L, S, R, R, press brown button twice. L, L, N, pull yellow lever, R, get coin, L, S, R, R, N, R, N, N, examine picture (clue for later), L, get ornate key. R, R, S, L, S, L, S, press brown button twice. N, pull blue lever, S, Press brown button twice. N, L, L, S, pull red lever, R, R. Press brown button twice, L, L, N, R, N, pull orange lever, L, pull pink lever. R, S, L, S, R, R, R, S.

You now have the ornate brown key, 3 coins and all the buttons play tunes. :v2_dizzy_cheers:

I've now been round the spinning maze; every lever is in the downward position and every button plays music when touched. I'd already found the 'Space: the final frontier' clue and picture, but there was no key to the left of it, so I must've already found that on my previous travels. I also didn't find any new coins so I must've already found all of those.

I still haven't found the ornate key for the first hut on the left, the one with the little blue square above the door, through the area accessible via the light brown key water portal.

But - I have now been inside the fourth and last hut with the coloured buttons and songs outside.

So it seems to me I have to find the last ornate key - is it the one I need to find the third totem piece in order to reach? I've already found one totem piece on a cliff wall ledge above the water, and another in the Indiana Jones style stone block area. Once I've found the third totem piece and got that key, I assume that'll lead me on to being able to buy the skeleton key and visit the anglers' paradise?

Sorry Armorog, you need the third totem piece to be able to reach the blue key and that totem piece is in Richard's 'top secret' area, so you need the red skeleton key from his safe to enter. As you've already got some fish you must have already got the fishing net from Richard's house ..and the red skeleton key from his safe. You only had to buy the grey skeleton key in order to get into his house after he left.

50 fish are in Anglers' Paradise, the other 50 are scattered around - remember an earlier comment about having to wait for almost a minute in the right hand side of the little underwater area with the 'light blue' walls for the second fish to appear ...and that the red skeleton key opens the red door in the 'waterworks' for an extra coin.

Ummm... I've forgotten what was in the house but I know it wasn't the net. That fell out of the sky after standing on the x for a minute.

Armorog, details are very fuzzy so I could be wrong but I think you need to find a secret room. There are three in the "Indiana Jones style stone block area" (move a block to find a button for one and walk through a wall for the other two) and one behind a tree (near the ape). Not sure which one (if any) has what you need right now.

Oops! In my original notes I had a rock falling out of the sky and the net was in Richard's cupboard - Armorog, you may need to get the diamond from the underground tunnels behind the dragon (egg in one of the secret rooms mentioned by Snr Trooper) ...unless I changed it and didn't put it in my notes (again!).

Thanks Sn Trooper, there were in fact two secret rooms in the Indiana Jones area that I hadn't found before, so now I've got the dragon egg and the empty glass (I'd already found the secret room in the monkey area). Guess I can press on now, sadly this probably won't be my last plea for help on the thread!

Thanks for the help - I've just finally solved the musical instrument puzzle (a bit tricky, as I wasn't clear from the graphics
which one was supposed to be the guitar, and apart from the organ, drums, trumpet, saxophone and piano, what the other
two were intended to be).
Now on 99 fish, so am going to have a comprehensive look round the whole game again, but I imagine there's one really
difficult hidden one. Almost there!
