Dizzy and the Other Side [TESTED, GAME RELEASED]

Postby xelanoimis » Thu Apr 24, 2008 8:45 am

All right! I guess I shouldn't delay this any longer...

As I mentioned, I'll be away the next week, and if anyone can help me beta-testing the "Dizzy and The Other Side" game until my return, that would be great.

Here is how it's stands so far:

- The game was already tested in-house, a few times, and it shouldn't be too buggy.

- I have the dialogs sent to someone for review, but they didn't come back yet, so this beta version might have some spelling or grammar issues, that will be solved in the final release.

- It will be a protected version, and you'll have to play it without the developer cheats, like normal players. You can save and load the game as many times you want, but you should NOT activate the dev option. If you respect that, at the end of the game, you'll get to register your score online, on the game's website. And that is also a thing to be tested. The score is based on the number of diamonds found, on the number of re-loads, lives left and time of play. Make a not of it, when you finish the game.

- You'll have access to an interactive walkthrough, a game guide with questions and answers, to help you if you're out of idea. But don't just play it through. Try to find bugs, like places where you can get stuck in terrain, or logic bugs, etc.

So if anyone is interested and has the time to do a good beta-testing next week, let me know by tomorrow evening, and I'll email you the details and the download link. And the testers will appear on the game's credits too ;)

Thank you!
Alex

Adz.M, NigeC, Super Mario and SLIDER, you have private messages.

Please note down in a text file every issue you find, or anything looking like one, and send it to me, when ready, via e-mail.

Thanks for helping.
