Daisy goes solo Pt. 2 v1.0 [DOWNLOADABLE]

Post by Adz.M » Fri Feb 12, 2010 7:46 pm

Steve Rennie AKA Grandad has released a sequel of the first Daisy goes solo game, and is also an entry in this year's DizzyAGE Easter Compo.

v1.0

:egg: Yolkfolk.com
:egg: DizzyAGE

I was able to upload the zip onto the actual Yolkfolk site, it turns out the site's file uploader won't let me upload more than 6MB, which is probably won't let me upload Lost Temple Dizzy, I'm hoping Peter will fix that problem soon.

Anyway, I've had a quick play and it sure looks like a good game :) I'll have a proper play later

I've been playing this for a couple of hours, and really like it... seem to be hemmed in by animals now though!

Great puzzles in this game, but there is a minor bug, when wearing the invisibility hat, you jump 'backwards' - ie you move the correct way, but the graphic is reversed!
Good tough fun though! :v2_dizzy_cheers:

I'm in love with the art design and animation in this, it's sheer mouthwatering genius discovering each new area - the game just looks so 'alive'. :v2_dizzy_clapping:

(One small thing though - if you click on the left-hand palm tree in the snake screen before said ophidian nasty has appeared, you still get the message warning you not to go near him.)

Thanks for the support everyone. I'll see if any more silly bugs arise before I release an updated version as currently they don't affect the outcome.

Jamie - please finish COTM first, I loved LOD ...really like maze games.

I am sooooo stuck on FeverBound at present, but don't want to look at the help thread. Have just drawn my own map to see if that will help. Great Game.

Almost finished Lost Temple ...just three bits of treasure to find. Another great game.

Really liked this game and felt it was much better than part 1 in every way.
It was quite tough in places but the puzzles were well thought out and although not always immediately obvious the solutions were logical and had you cursing that you hadnt thought of the answer sooner than you did.
You really needed those 3 save slots though especially in the mine.
Cant really fault it at all except i did find some minor bugs 1 of which i mentioned in the help thread.
The others were the snake message appeared before the snake did and after the temple was done you could sneak past the policeman to get into the jail if you clicked just at the left edge of the door not that it did you much good.
I also noticed you could get the umbrella again.
None of these hindered game play though and it was a most enjoyable game.
Now on to something else which might as well be the game of the moment daisy goes shopping.
Might be nice to play something at the same time as everyone else for a change.
