I agree. I've tried making a joke out of it, but the way trz's been behaving is well beyond the pale.

Ok guys, if you like it so much - play this excellent game! I expressed my opinion and will not bother you more. Good luck!

I wasn't going to spell it out...(but it's Monday morning and I'm about to start work so I'm feeling arsy as it is)...

You're entitled to your opinion and people are entitled to disagree with you, that's fine. What is out of order though is posting a picture of a disabled person and basically labeling it "moron". There may well be people that use this board that have a disabled family member....

All I'm going to say. Walking away from this thread now and hoping a mod will come along and clean it up. Have a good day now :)

I've been watching this thread for a while now, and I must say that I'm absolutley shocked by the reactions on this thread.

I am not taking sides here but the thing about this current forum is that there aren't any clear rules about what sort of content can be posted here and nor has it ever been discussed by Team Yolkfolk.

Now I have nothing against any certain games with adult humour and I do like a good laugh as much as the next person, but it is a very risky move to post fan games with adult content (even if they're only in Easter Eggs) as it was once mentioned by an employee who worked with the Olivers during their Blitz Games years.
The guidelines that were once posted on an old forum we used to have years ago mentioned 'respecting the brand' which I recall saying that any fan title should be family friendly.
Sadly, I cannot prove that this was posted in the past as we lost the guidelines when we switched forums.

Now admittedly, we may have broken those guidelines ourselves by accepting a few adult games in the past, "Porn Mag Adventure" and "Dizzy's Bad Day" being the earliest dating all the way back to 2000 when there hasn't been any legal guidelines set out by The Oliver Twins.
Because we still have those early games hosted on the site is very much the reason why Grandad's adult titles have been added to the site too.

I do see why some people have reacted the way they have done and everyone is entitled to their own opinion either positive, negative or mixed, and I think the way trz reacted in this thread was absolutley unacceptable.

If you don't like what you see here, just simply IGNORE IT.

I don't know whether or not they'll come a time when having adult-themed fan games hosted on the site will end up being discussed by Team Yolkfolk.
But in the meantime, they're staying up until that one day when we could be instructed to remove them by either Andrew Joseph or the Olivers.

I do hope no more fall outs occur after this, especially during this special year celebrating Dizzy's 30th Anniversary.
We're supposed to be sticking together like grown adults and not overreacting over the quality of one persons fan game.

Seriously consider watching your steps in the near future, otherwise I will take this matter up with Andrew who will most likely make a more strict approach, or worse - put bans in place!

Thank you for your time and I hope you have read my message carefully.
We do not tolerate this sort of behaviour on these forums.

One last thing.
To those who reported bugs in the game, I've been given the updated version (v1.01) that fixes bugs involving Jock and Grand Dizzy.

Links are on the first page of this thread.

:O There's a Grand Dizzy bug? So he's not supposed to be floating up by the ceiling?

Boo, he is supposed to be up there. It is Grandad being literal!
The bug that Adz mentioned is all the same bug where talking to Grand Dizzy when you should be fishing causes the bug meaning you can't get his dinner.

The really daft thing about the big barney earlier is that the game can quite happily be completed without too much adult content. :dizzy_rolleyes:

Not sure this is a bug as such, but even though I am playing in 'high libido' mode, I still get the same message from Theo's chest of drawers :v2_dizzy_confused3:

My bad again!! This is a very complicated game and forgot to update the 'chest of drawers' - my fault for making Dora make silly remarks so early in the game :hitwall:

Grandad, I've PM'd you (or I think I have), could you let me know if you've received anything?
