Wally Week
Wally Week
Did anyone else here play Wally Week games? I remember the Spectrum versions of "Herbert's Dummy Run", "Three Weeks in Paradise" and "Everyone's A Wally" (which even came with its own single). These were kind of proto-Dizzy games. "Three Weeks in Paradise" was easily the best of the Wally Weeks. It had a lot of Dizzy-type puzzles and even included the later Dizzy trend of referencing ancient Greek myths. I used to play it on the Spectrum to the first "Deep Forest" CD.

Yes, I remember Wally Week from his first game, Automania, which was a bit different to the later games. I agree, they were well worth playing - have you got them on your Vega Meph?
Sounds like you would like this DizzyAge game:

I had Pyjamarama and Three Weeks In Paradise on the Spectrum. Could never finish either of them though.
Andy Mason did a DizzyAGE version of Everyone's A Wally called "Yolkfolk To The Rescue" many years ago.
