the golf club puzzle is one of those that you'll probably spend ages thinking what to do with it, but then when you do it, you'll wonder why on earth you didn't think of it before, as it will become completely obvious!

oh and Claires Kempston Joystick, i know what to do, and even i don't get that cryptic clue! mind you, i'm rubbish at crosswords...

ooo hang on, i think i may have worked it out. very tenuous tho!

As per usual, after a couple of days' good going I've come to a complete standstill

... just like the good old days lol

I've found no use for the Branch, the Axe, the Hammer or the Bag. I've used the oil but with absolutely no idea as to what good that was meant to do...

Same goes for the golf club - I found the rather sickly 'joke' use straight away, but as for the 'proper' use goodness only knows. I'm guessing that the key to it has something to do with the specific calibre of the club

Got 20 stars so far but only just over 11,000 points - and from that score I figure out that there's a heck of a lot more left to do...

Mapwise, I'm thinking perhaps you can get past the Blockage, the Cave-In and the Vampire, and thanks to the goat being a "pain in the butt" in earlier games I know that somehow you can get above the altar...

first thing i tried was to bash the bees with the news paper and all dizzy did was drop it and got stung... lol I'll have to try that again.

Meph - you have to be in the right place to succeed. SPOILERyou have to go down the steps to use the paper

Clientfan - I am also stuck on the golf club - i thought i was being cunning thinking of golfing terms where I could use it - missing LINKS, the BIRDIE / EAGLE, and also Iron being an electrical conductor all to no avail

Jamie seems to have got loads of us scratching our heads again, looking for the obvious silly link - like what to do with the Hamlet book

Just where does he get all his ideas from ?

frogandhat - you were being cunning with the club, but i think you need to follow the same sort of advice you gave to Meph...
