Dora To The Rescue v1.0 [DOWNLOADABLE]

Post by Grandad » Tue Apr 02, 2019 11:20 am

Oh no, not another one of Grandad's vulgar, bad taste, highly questionable games starring Dora I hear you saying ...and the answer is a resounding YES. So if political correctness is your thing, don't play this game as you'll only get upset at seeing what goes on in my excuse of a brain.

For the rest of you, be amazed at the lengths I can go to attempting to make you cringe and go 'yuuccchhh!'
However, you cannot die or get hurt in this game, just messed up trying to solve my evil puzzles and finding those elusive secret areas.

Geek talk: there are 100 different costume changes and the 'action/return' key now brings up a choice menu which includes 'special abilities' and 'clothes' as well as the inventory.

Have fun :v2_dizzy_cheers:

Hooray, a new Grandad game. I say that now but I shall probably be calling your parentage into question fairly soon into it!!!! Can't wait for it to be downloadable and get stuck in.

Very excited to see this here Grandad, thought you’d ‘gone soft’ on us (oo-er missus!) with your last couple of games but relieved to see Dora’s getting up to her old tricks... :v2_dizzy_clapping:

Gave this a whirl last night. Rolled my eyes so hard I think I sprained something. :dizzy_rolleyes:

Got stuck really early on though. Will try again...

I found a bug. It happens when you kiss the blarney stone when you're invisible. (It only happens when you're small and turning big.)

That's me being a total idiot Simon. I'd been experimenting with ways to ensure that the run and jump abilities weren't carried through from Dora being small to being tall and forgot to change the being small and invisible to being tall and invisible after I'd made the size check part of the menu.gs coding. :hitwall:

Thanks for letting me know.
