I don't know why I never got round to posting this on here, especially since I'm not sure how many people visit the Forums or our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Since April, when I was about to publish last month's Newletter, but instead I was given this error message and nothing was appearing on my E-mail Inbox, let alone on everyone else's Inboxes.
Also since April, I had recieved a few private messages on the Community Forums and I didn't recieve any E-mail notifications.
This could possibly mean that there might be a big problem with the whole site's E-mail system, both with the Newsletter and the Forums.
People have been unable to register onto the Forums for the most of April because you had to activate your account via E-mail. And with that not even working, the E-mail activation for the Forums has been disabled so you should now be able to post on there.
This is the error I get when trying to publish the Newsletter to subscribers.
SMTP -> ERROR: Password not accepted from server: 535 Incorrect authentication data
SMTP Error: Could not authenticate. Mailer Error: SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.
I have been contacting Andrew about this problem, he has been looking into it a lot this past month and I'm still unable to send the Newsletter to subscribers.
I don't know for sure but I have a feeling that this site's host EUKHost may have something to do with it, turns out we've had a lot of problems with them before and I remember reading that they once disabled something on here without consulting us.
So until we can find some way to sort out these issues with the site's E-mail system, the Newsletter cannot be sent to the E-mail subscribers.
I suggest to anyone who's new to this site, do not subscribe via the Newsletter page until further notice.
In the meantime, you can still view the Newsletter when it get's posted on the Forums, our Facebook page, our Twitter feed and when It's added onto the Newsletter Archive.
We do apologise for this, if there's any help or suggestions you can give us, let us know on the Forums.
Take care all.
