Dizzy Saves The Day
by Steve 'Grandad' Rennie
Made with DizzyAGE v2.4
August 2025
version 1.0

Storyline:
All the male yolkfolk went out drinking and are now all lost. Help Dizzy to find them all with some help
from Daisy and Dora.

Notes:
Players can carry up to four items at any one time, but there is no warehouse to store items.
Players will sometimes automatically use an inventory item when solving a puzzle as long as
they are carrying the correct item (or items), but sometimes they have to use specific items from their inventory.

Sometimes each player has to find knowledge of an item before they can collect it.
but will share all coins and most inventory items.

Players cannot be hurt or killed, but to make if fun (for me) - touching nasties send you somewhere
back in the same area... or sometimes home.

Everything else, such as skills, actions, collisions etc are sometimes metioned in advance, but some
you'll have to discover for yourself. Just remember that the basic controls are
the direction keys, the space bar and 'Enter' key. So save often.

Game size:
Press F10 to switch between windowed or full screen mode.
In some versions of Windows 10 you may need to amend the setup file:
Double click to open, then choose, config, video, and click on windowed to change
it to full screen, then exit.

Requirements:
PC compatible system with 3D video board (GeForce2 or above).
Windows operating system and DirectX 9 or OpenGL installed.
For audio a sound card is required (DirectSound compatible).
For rumble effect use a gamepad or joystick with force feedback.

Gameplay:
Use the left and right arrow keys to move in that direction and the up arrow key to jump.
...unless you're a total dinosaur, then use Z/LEFT, X/RIGHT, K/UP, for movement and
SPACE for jump, not forgetting to say "I'm a total saddo" every time you press one of these keys.
Use the enter/return key for action and entering doorways etc. Use the escape key for loading, saving etc

If present, a gamepad or a joystick can also be used. But does anybody still use a joystick?
You can mute the sound with F9 and show the game FPS with F11.
F1 will display the About box (windowed only).Use PrintScreen or alt+PrintScreen to save a screenshot.

Thanks to the Mabess for all the help in testing this game, plus thanks to Muse and Doc Cox for their
wonderful music.
