About:
This is my first dizzy game and has been some 7 months in the making.
I hope you like it. It's pretty big - there's over 150 rooms and more
than 60 items. There's also 20 collectables (diamonds) - if you collect
five, you get an extra life. This is their only purpose, you don't have
to find them all.

The objective of course, is to defeat the Snow Queen, but there are
also two alternative endings hidden in the game.

The game's been pretty thoroughly tested, but if you find any bugs,
please contact me through the website.

Updates:

Version 1.5

Corrected a small mistake in version 1.4.

Version 1.4

Improved collision detection, plus a few tweaks to the SFX and some tiny bug fixes.

Version 1.3

Small bug fix. I've also tweaked the graphics slightly, including the correct
4-frame water tile for Dr Titus!

Version 1.2

A hopefully final version for the Easter Competition. Includes new graphics and SFX,
and a few minor tweaks to the gameplay.

Also, a couple of the dead-ends have been removed from the game to make it more
user-friendly. (You can still run out of dynamite though!)

Version 1.1

This version has a few differences from the first. A few bugs have been fixed and
a few small changes have been made to the gameplay.

The major differences are:
You have a little more energy than in version 1.0.
The Diamonds now give you a small energy boost when you collect them.
I've stopped you saving the game in some places where I think it would be
cheating.
I've added some graphics to the storehouse which will hopefully make that
puzzle a bit more solvable.
I've changed one of the puzzles slightly so you can solve it using two
different items, instead of just one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hints & Tips:

None of the diamonds are hidden behind railings in the trees.

The Ranger's keys need to be used 3 times.

The game contains references to the Narnia books and Snow White, amongst
others. If you get stuck on these puzzles then Google is your friend.

You can pick up and move the rope ladder.

There are books scattered about the map, most of which give clues to one of
the puzzles.

Beware of dropping down into the mines - you can't get back up unaided without
dying. Fix the lift first.

You can light and drop the dynamite anywhere, so if you run out, that's tough.
However, each stick will reappear in it's starting place the first time you use
it, so you'll have plenty of slack.

In the storehouse, you have one chance to choose the correct 3 items. Which ones
do you take? There are clues dotted all over the room.

The levitation spell requires a second item to cast it. When you do so, bear in
mind that it only works in the room you cast it in.

Troubleshooting:
By default, the game runs in 640x480 windowed mode (scale x2).
It should have sound enabled, keyboard and joystick support.
The game uses dizzy.ini for keeping it's settings.
You can adjust them from the provided setup, or even manually.
If you have troubles with your joystick or gamepad, try to
switch it to analog mode, calibrate it, or edit the dead zone
values in dizzy.ini with higher values.
If you experience troubles running the game,
try checking the log messages (enable them from setup),
visit the official web site for details, or contact the author.
