About the Game
Grand Dizzy was feeling very down one day, so Dizzy and Daisy decided to cheer him up by baking him his favourite food, cherry pie!
So off went Daisy to get some cherries from her cupboard and there were none to be seen!

"Pogie's pinched the cherries!" she cried, as she saw Pogie's pawprint in the cupboard.
"That darned fluffle. Come here you!" and Pogie promptly darted off into the enchanted forest to escape Daisy's rage.

Dizzy and Daisy decided to go into the forest to catch Pogie and gather some more cherries at the same time.
Whilst searching for Pogie they got lost and found a castle, where they thought they would find help, but it seemed deserted.

They looked in the castle for Pogie, but Daisy caught herself on a mystic spinning wheel.
She started feeling really sleepy, so she found a bed and went to sleep.

"Wake up Daisy, wake up!" shouted Dizzy.
But before he could wake her up, Rockwart the troll caught him and locked him up underground!
Trivia & History
Dizzy – Prince of the Yolkfolk” is known as the sixth adventure game in the series, despite not being officially numbered on the game itself.

Developed by Big Red Software and published by Codemasters for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC 464, Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari ST and PC DOS in May 1992.

The game was released exclusively as part of both the 8-bit and 16-bit “Dizzy’s Excellent Adventures” compilations and the PC DOS "Dizzy Collection" compilation.
It was also released on “The Big 6” compilation for the Amiga CD32.

In December 2011, Codemasters released an HD remake of this game for the iOS and Android smartphones.

You start the game with 3 lives, a full health bar and can carry up to 3 items.

The main objective is to find Daisy, become a prince and wake her up from a deep sleep.
There are also 20 cherries to collect in order to fully finish the game, the cherries replenish your health.
Some of the cherries are hidden behind railings, tufts of grass, a roof tile, a stone block and a few other items.

“Dizzy the Adventurer”, a game that has similarities to Prince of the Yolkfolk was released on the controversial “Aladdin Deck Enhancer” for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and also released as part of “The Excellent Dizzy Collection” compilation for the Sega Game Gear in early 1993/94.
