August, space year 2011, we find the world in the grip of apathy as an armada of alien spaceships hovers above Earth's capital cites.
Apathy? Yes indeed.
You see, such invasions had become a regular thing around Friday tea times, and as the aliens were only two inches tall, they didn't pose much of a threat.
Fortunately for this story, this time things were different.
From these UFO's came deadly robot stompers armed with dark glasses, a general bad attitude and wibble-wave ray guns.
The world was caught on the hop.
Only one man could save the day, but that man was busy ironing his pants.
So instead, Giddy, the egg-shaped superhero decided to have a go.
