Commodore, Identical to the Spectrum game (a bizarre choice to port after Spellbound which was rebuilt) but with much better, fantastic music. Well, I mean it's the same tune... But the SID chip does it great justice as always :teethy: So that's it for me. :teethy:
I voted Amiga, as it's my favourite version of Prince of the Yolkfolk. If there had been a separate poll for Dizzy the Adventurer I would have voted Nintendo.
Amiga version for me, although preferred the theme tune from the Commodore version.
Never really liked Dizzy the Adventurer, always felt it was just a cheap remake of Prince of the Yolkfolk. And since Prince of the Yolkfolk is one of my fave Dizzy games, personally I think they should have just left it alone.

Seriously? i think the Sid version of the music is terrible, it makes my ears hurt.
I vote for the Nes version (for once not the Amstrad version lolz) because there is just more it than most versions and the music is slightly better than the master system version in my opinion.
I had the C64 cersion which I really liked back in the day but I have to admit im gonna go for the NES version on this one, better colours and sprites and the music is also alot nicer {yolkfolk}:thumb:
I like the PC version of "Prince of the Yolkfolk" a lot because of its beautiful, atmospheric, mysterious melody and the background. But just today I have discovered the new version of "Dizzy the Adventurer" and I liked it a lot too. Well, to compare: the music is much, much worse because it's just cheeryhappy and I prefer the more mysterious music from "Prince of the Yolkfolk". (Interestingly, I usually say the same about Christmas music: that traditional Christmas carols are "mysterious" and Christmas songs and pop arrangements of Christmas carols are "cheeryhappy", which is pretty much an insult for me. ;)) But the graphics are very good. Yes, in a different style, it is too more sunny and happy and less mysterious, but it's also much more detailed. Particularly the castles - on PC the castles mostly differed in the Zaks' castle had decorative pilars and the king's castle had much more primitive beams. In new "Dizzy the Adventurer" they differ a lot, the room with Rockwart the troll (equivalent of the evil Dizzy room on PC) is just striking compared to the original... Altogether I have played four versions: PC/DOS (already in the 1990s), Amiga, version for tablets in a Dizzy AGE remake (I play games exclusively on my computer, with the exception of three very primitive games for Nokia 6210  ) and that "Dizzy the Adventurer" remake.
