Here impossible screenshots from dizzy games will be, and those who want will try to guess how it is done. Rules: 1) Anyone can post his/her impossible screenshot anytime. 2) Any game can be used (including the fan-made ones) but you must point out the game you took the screenshot from. 3) NO cheat using, that includes such thing as iwantanomellete in Dizzy 5 and dev mode in DizzyAGE games. 4) Glitches can be used. 5) DON'T edit the game itself. Here're two, both from Fantasy World Dizzy remake:
the first you have to keep pressing enter as you move towards the troll. you'll eventually collect a coin, and will be able to walk past him.
it was the '01' in the coin box that gave that away.
interestingly, you can't escape from there without losing all your lives.
as for the second one, you balance on the edge of the lift as you go up in it. a split second after that screen shot, you'd have risen above the platform. that one was easy to work out.
The screenshot about being burned by flames is from Fantasy World Dizzy Remake, the screenshot with sitting Dizzy (he is tired probably) is... yup, from Diamond Mine Dizzy! :tongue:
where he's sitting, he'll just have been dazed a split second before by rolling down the steps, and you've captured it at the point just before he gets up.

the one with the flames, i'm guessing there's a flame behind the message box that he jumped into.
{yolkfolk}:eek: 1. dizzy shouldn't be able to get past the troll, as soon as dizzy touches it it should be put into a jump towards the left. and the troll is to tall to jump over.
2. the flame death message is abit odd as there is no hurt/kill material where dizzy is dead, i've tested this game many times in this area and it's never happened too me. the only thing i can think of is dizzy has touched the torch in the room to the left while in a jump. and this means dizzy wouldn't actually die until he hits the ground.
About getting past the troll, it's all a matter of holding the right arrow key while mashing enter like there's no tomorrow. You'll get a coin and then if you are lucky you will be able to get past him. Then you cannot escape from behind the troll by simply going as he throws you in the flame. But from behind the troll you can simply JUMP over and he will not throw you up. You're correct about flame death. If you find the right place of jumping you can get the flame death message in wide-eyed-dragon room. Might be interesting to try to get past the troll in the deserted mines and see what happens?! {yolkfolk}:bigwink: EDIT: I found out. It's a pity that pteal placed something there so I still can't access the screen immediately to the right.

walk from the left on the bottom floor into the room with the evil dizzy double and back again. You will lose a little life. keep doing this and you will eventually die, apparently from the flames? What flames!
Dizzy's enhanced speed in the Aladdin versions of The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy once got the better of me as I accidentally jumped into the crack over the breakable rock below the dragon, with no way out on either side.
Also, I found that it's possible to stand on the ledge over the shopkeeper in the NES version of Treasure Island Dizzy, but it's not easy! Can you guess how it's done? And does anyone know if you can beat 83000 points?
Speaking of points, I once achieved a very minimal score by the end of The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy.
(You can farm mini-games for unlimited points, and a score of 9999 rolls over to 0000. The easiest way to do this is to just keep jumping in place after you beat Zaks.)
Oh, heh, I just found out that I can jump into the same crack in the very first version of The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy. No super speed required! That's pretty harsh, that you could be trying to find a way to get through without dynamite and suddenly get trapped on both sides with no way to even lose a life to get out.
