This was discussed on the old forum but I thought it would be best to bring it back

This image is off the back of the Dizzy Collection box, and the screenshot could possibly have been a cancelled version of a different Magicland Dizzy or something.

My guess is that it would be from an early stage of development, or possibly just a concept image to test out that style of art (which I presume was then rejected).

My guess could be that they just plonked all the characters in one screen purely for this screenshot. saves multiple shots advertising one game.... could be wrong.. probably am

Yeah, it's most likely a mockup. Made in some art program.

Had another thorght running aroudn in my head...

Could be that the screenshot above is from a tester version of the game for the coders to test if everything was working ok before release.. I think that make sence...

I've played Magicland on the ST.. I even have the music ripped from it. {yolkfolk}

Either

- 'Concept Image'
- 'Art Mock Up' to save money on more that one screenshot
- 'Hidden Room?'
- 'Deleted Room'
- 'Debug Option'

Theres so many different explanations, maybe we should get a poll going here! *clicks* ehem Adz {yolkfolk}:delight:

Considering the 'Wake up Dozy' scene, the wizard and Glenda the Witch are all on the same screen at the same time, I'd suggest this is definitely a mock up.
