If you have v1.0, you need to download the latest version, as there are some major bugs in v1.0.

Story:

Dizzy is out walking one day, when suddenly he falls under a magical spell, and goes into a deep sleep...

When he wakes up, he's in a strange forest, in a strange land. Can you help dizzy to escape from this strange land, and get back home?

Version History:
v1.0 Released 23/05/2007 First public release.
v1.1 Released 26/05/2007 Fixed major bug that allowed player to bypass transporters. Fixed minor bug that caused game to not show some items. Stopped player being able to jump over fire in main hall. Stopped player being able to get past guilotine on re-spawn.
v1.2 Released 28/05/2007 Fixed small bug regarding the Large egg.
v1.3 Released 16/05/2009 Updated to DizzyAGE v2.3, fixed a room name.

Dream World indeed, I like those Dizzy games where you have lots to explore :teethy:

So far I have 29 Zzz's unlocked the place behind the wardrobe and the stairway of passages under the castle. :smile:

right guys, turns out that peter hadn't sneaked a look at the code, he's just found a major bug in the game.

so major in fact, that i've asked both him and alex to withdraw it from the yolkfolk and dizzyage sites temporarily until i've fixed it, which should be sometime today.

in the meantime, if you find you're able to access the purple cage before you've got an item from alice, you've found the bug, and it will seriously spoil your enjoyment of the game if you use the cage before you get the item from alice.

UPDATE:: it's not taken me as long to change as i thought it would, so i've sent the modified file to alex, and hopefully he'll put it up sometime today. it's v1.1 now, so you'll know if you have the correct version.

Well this is what I've done, I sacrificed a life trying to get past the gillutine to collect the oar, used the oar got the certain item to give to Alice then used what she gave me and I got the cage.

I thought of something spooky too, the big stairways under the castle reminded me of a Dizzy game dream I had once lol. :surprise:

adz, i'm assuming you got past the guilotine by killing yourself, then walking past as soon as you respawned?

if so, i've fixed that bug too :smile:

right guys, Version 1.1 is now up on the yolkfolk and DizzyAGE websites

PLEASE replace your old version with this one, as it has some MAJOR bug fixes.

unfortunately your old save games won't load in the new version. sorry.

Yup, So I take it I didn't need to sacrifice any lives then? I had to find a certain item to stop the gillatine? :tongue:

I did notice that with the eggs, but thought it was a small thing, perhaps I should of mentioned it.

Still to figure where to use the rope but will have to come back to it later now.

Hey seriously should be well proud of this game. Its a superlative undertaking to say the least & us that enjoy playing dizzy games especially new fan ones have been blessed. Im well impressed as im sure the others playing are.

I wouldnt have a clue how to use DizzyAge & create one. Think I leave it to you experts {yolkfolk}:joy:
