I'm doing one of my older games from scratch after seeing so many minor bugs and mistakes the version I already made back in 2004 (which you can download here https://yolkfolk.com/games/yolkfolk-vs-yolkville/)
At this moment It's 94% complete and likely to be online either tommorrow or 2 days time.
Okay, since noone else is going to, I'll give you some crits.
On the whole I enjoyed this, it had a nice little twist on the old Dizzy game, I thought it was a bit violent for the genre (Yolkfolk etc throwing rocks at each other, what's going on) but I'm fine with that. The contest mode is a great idea too.
There are a few things that bothered me, you need to work on the collision detection, since Dizzy gets caught on the walls quite alot, which is really really frustrating when you're trying to play the contest mode. That's pretty much the big issue that you need to deal with, because it sort of ruins the enjoyment factor of the game. Another point, but not that important is using a Nirvana MIDI in your game. *shudders* No offense, but it's not really that fitting in a Dizzy game.
And I got as far as the lake, where you have to jump on the clouds. I only had two lives by that time, so I didn't stand much of a chance.
Well, No offence taken {eggs2}:denzil: , I had a bit of rock moment making that game  I didn't use MIDIs, I used MODs.
But yeah, I know what you mean about the collision bug seeing as I don't know how to fix that and that I I've got no TGF2 tutorials to help me stop that.
I know It's not like a normal Dizzy game, mainly because I don't how to do the features the originals have, because I'm not really top of the class on programing at all, lol.
Plus, one of my aims was to pretty much do a Dizzy game in a different style, or whatever I can manage to do, I'm a slow learner.
