This site sure looks like they have blaintantly stolen from this site in terms of graphical work and layout.
Im v.angry at this as its taken myself a lot of time to get this site visually looking great with the graphics along with Peter and the rest of the gang, what do you guys think?
I think SLIDER is one of the owners of that site, I only appreciate the Game maps they've done that we don't have.
However, I'm not really amused with the fact that they made a logo very similar to this site's  , as you've just pointed out. Plus I think I found a bit of OliverTwins.com on one of the pages too :o_o:
If this is a coincidence then I'm a Martian. Even the little picture they use as a substitute for the Internet Explorer symbol is the same as the icon used for the DizzyAGE versions of Magicland Dizzy and Dizzy 3.5! If I were you I would be very tempted to get in touch with them and point out what they've done. {dizzy}
Perhaps the one saving grace is that they have at least included a link to Yolkfolk.com (albeit as an afterthought in brackets), so at least visitors to the Russian site have the chance to visit the original and best.
Oh, I saw that website some time ago when mrdarek from our community gave us a link to it. Of course when I visited it, for me it was obvious the author of that website stole Yolkfolk's graphics, too. I understand your anger - no one would want to have his graphics stolen.
PS.: I've heard somewhere, that in Russia there's no copyright. Is that true?
Ive sent 'a kinda e-mail' to the webmaster of that site explaining my disgust.
I would like to point out to any other Dizzy site webmasters here that Myself and Yolkfolk.com will be fully supportive to other Dizzy Fansites if they are original and DO NOT STEAL OR PLAGURISE from ourselves...
Im expecting the e-mail to be ignored or a reply along the lines of.. "We dont give two hoots" (obvisouly a lot worse than that).
{dizzy} This is one website that Im not endorsing nor supporting in ANY way. {dizzy}
If suddenly to you will seem, that my site (blog) too some things has stolen... tell me please. {yolkfolk} If to you will seem, that my game contains sprites from dizzy on sega - that you will be right). I now study to do the sprites and all is fast in my game will be made by my hands). {yolkfolk}:music: If to you will seem, that music is similar to music dizzy games... That you will be right - I not the musician and I do not have hearing. p.s. and... I AM BATMAN... oh.. daodizzy... offcourse DAODIZZY. I AM DAODIZZY))) {yolkfolk}:dizzy:
Everything on your site is perfectly alright. Images from Dizzy games, music, graphics are freely available around the internet. For your own personal project that is absolutly fine. The point I'm making here is that the person who created dizzyland.ru completely ripped off whole sections of this site. Primarily the header banner at the top of their website and the Dizzy logo itself which was made specifically for this site only.
Hope this helps.. If you are still worried or anything please let me know but seriously, you've got nothing to worry about.
I am sorry for my English. 1) The header. The only things, that I have 'stolen' from you are 1) a yellow background and 2) Dizzy-logo. I Am sorry for it. I did not think, that it can make you angry. I promise, that I will soon replace these 2 elements. Other graphics is taken from Dizzy-games. 2) The icon. This icon is from DOS-version of Dizzy 4. You used it in DizzyAGE version of Dizzy 4. So why I cannot use it on my site? PS My site is in network for 3 months. Why don't you tell me about all this earlier?

п. это бред... давай подключайся  ))
In comment to you mentioning that your site had been online for many months, I had yet to see it. I was only aware of it while looking at Dizzy randomly on the internet. Im 'angry' at the fact you didnt ask if you could 'use someones elses ideas' and plagerise the site like you have. I appreciate that you have said you are going to change the header. Thank you for doing that. Please could you do that to all of your sites as you have two which are copied.
That's much better... I don't know why they didn't do that in the first place, it looks good and surely that was far less effort than copying the whole yellow side bit with Dizzy picture thing. {yolkfolk} :egg: Mat :egg:
