A small Xmas prezzie from me..

Its a Flash point and click adventure made with Lassie AS, so he's controlled via the mouse, on an object left click and hold to activate the verb disc, click on areas you want him to go to. Don't right click as it activates the Flash player cursor.. its not a problem, just annoying!

Its took just under a week, and about 12 rooms, you can't die and it was done to see if i could pull off a Dizzy P&C game in Flash.. hopefully I've done it!

Dizzy And The Pit

Any bugs etc let me know

thanks to Adz.M for the sound help {dizzy}

.swf is the flash movie.. give me 15 minutes and i'll add an .exe to start it.. it should run in a web browser but the hidden scroll areas show as the browser stretches the movie t0 fit

oh nutz the .exe is for 800x600 screen res.. I've added a "dizzy.html" so it'll run from that assuming the web browser is flash enabled

to save downloading the whole thing heres the html file put it in the folder with the swf

which is now include in the main download

@nigec I know its a bad omen to bump a 19 year old thread, but the game is now back on Yolkfolk and available to download.

:egg: DOWNLOAD GAME

To be able to play this game, you will need to install Ruffle – a Flash emulator.

:egg:  Download Ruffle

Wow has it really been 19 years?
Thanks for reposting it :)
I still have the files, but the lassie.exe is kinda screwy and the LassieAS game engine is long gone.
I have tried other Dizzy ideas but never got very far, maybe I should re do it ;)

Hmm, how do I move in the game? I tried clicking on the desired location, but it doesn't work!

It looks like the walkable area breaks with Ruffle

It is a quirky game, but the best way I got it to work is to set Ruffle to a maximised window.

Then go to View > Scale Mode > Unscaled (100%).

Then that opens up more of the game's display.

You should be able to click the floor to get him to move not just hotspots (bed, cupboard, door etc).
I'm looking at options to revisit it, the issue is I tend to do adventure games not platformers so combining the two would be a challenge, and I don't want to fake it this time :)
I keep meaning to try Dizzyage again
