for your information, and others who may have a similar problem, the book says:

CLOUD SEEDING IS THE ATTEMPT TO INCREASE RAINFALL BY DISPERSING SMALL GRAINS HIGH UP IN THE ATMOSPHERE.

THIS CAN HELP RAIN TO FORM, AND CAN ALSO ENCOURAGE MORE CLOUDS TO FORM.

I keep seeing gems twinkling in the caves ie the twinkle twinkle screen etc amongst the dark background - are you suppose to beable to get these by using an item or are they for decorative purposes ?

Well done Kitty !! Im at total loss now, got the weather vein, lamp, duster, electric torch, mirror, megaphone, egg basket, baby bottle & only 16 gems.

Been in the secret passage & down the grave and up to 37 gems now. This is the part of dizzy games I dont like trying to
find the remaining ones in this case gems as I never seem to get them all.

Should I at this stage be able to complete the game or are they some more puzzles to solve although dont seem it ?

I have 3 main items left ive not used and 3 others (which may or may not be for points only)

Also I dunno if I should beable to kill the spiders & bats or any of the under water sprites (for points).

Apart from the problems I am having in game trying to solve the puzzles, I have encountered a couple of installation problems as well, dont know if its my decrepit old machine, it is 8 years old.

I have a few DizzAge games installed and still uncompleted. When i used WinZip to unzip and install Railroad, if I let it clear up the temporary files, then when i try to start Railroad, i get WinterWorld instead!
Have tricked Winzip, otherwise I would lose not only the game, but also my saves when I resart the PC. {yolkfolk}:tired:

Also, this is the first game i have tried where it doesnt appear to allow me to use my Saitek rumbling Joypad. I have gone into config to make sure its allowed but whether I enable or disable it in the Dizzy config makes no difference {yolkfolk}:scratch:

So i am having to use the keyboard, and simulate my own rumbles when I fall a great distance (AGAIN) :teethy:

I have never had any problems with any other DizzyAge game. Is it a new version of DizzyAge that doesnt like Windows 98 ?
Anyone got any ideas please ?

ermmm RRD uses v2.1 of DizzyAGE, which had a bug in it that meant joysticks weren't supported. v2.1.1 fixed this, but i haven't updated RRD yet... {yolkfolk}:redfaced:

regarding it starting WWD instead of RRD, i have no idea. Alex would need to comment on that.

i really must get around to updating the RRD .exe file to v2.1.1....
