Just for the record, I was just curious about it and I'm not actually an American, I just live there.....Scottish born and raised, and it is kinda nice to find a community that has a lot of British. (Relieves my homesickness a little)
You have no idea how much you miss the little things like hearing sweatshirts called jumpers, chesnut trees called conker trees, wrenches called spanners etc untill you don't hear them for a while.

Plus British people seem more laid back than Americans in general.
