Since it seems to be the thing to do, I started my own dizzy game! {yolkfolk}:music:
not sure if it will be ready for the compo. got to get my head around the coding {yolkfolk}
the map is about 80% complete and 2% code is done
story :- It seems that the spirits are angry that developers are removing resources from the volcanic island of Ovum. The volcano is in imminent danger of erupution. Dizzy has been called in to rescue the inhabitance of the island, before this happens! F.A.B!
I'd like to help with the beta, but not this weekend. I must prepare the DizzyAGE v2.2 release (and other TOS tasks...)
Are you using the engine v2.2 beta? If not, I can convert your game for you, before your betatesting. It will not take long. Just send it to me this evening or when you're ready, and I'll upgrade it and send it back to you. Then, the other betatesters will get to test your game directly on the upcomming v2.2. If you already upgraded it yourself, send it to the betatesters directly.
I'll also have a look at it, giving you advice and stuff, but only next week, or latest the next weekend.
We'll talk about it. You have my email on the DizzyAGE website.
looks like i'll be doing a lot of dizzy things this weekend. between converting DMD for v2.2, working on BTD, and testing Volcano Island, i'll not be doing anything else!
i'll send you a private message with my email addy.
i’m past it now! damn this game is big colin!

Hee!Hee! yup I sent an alpha copy to Jamie, so he could help me with some rough edges! I hope to have the beta version for the testers, later on sunday evening (all being well)
I'm running through a nice big long list of fixes at the moment
wow that's a great game! will have people puzzling for quite a while.
i'll have to really raise my game when i do IID...
colin, i've just sent you a load more feedback, but considering you've never used DizzyAGE before, i think you've got to grips with it extremely well. it's better than the first game i made in pretty much every respect. in fact, i'd go as far as to say it's probably one of the best DizzyAGE games there is.
