I was looking at the members list and it appears theres loads who have never post, and handful who managed to post all of once.. maybe twice if we're really lucky.

Doesn't anyone know why they ain't more involved?
just seems pointless signing up unless they got board.

what a lot of people do is sign up so that they can ask a question on the forums and then disapear. best example recently is captaindizzypants.

Well .............

The reason I signed up originally was so that I could ask ask a question about 'Dizzy's Normal Day'. I have just checked and I have actually posted 19 times (didn't realise it was that many!!) although I think half of them have been thank posts {yolkfolk}

What I have found is that if I need help with a game I can just have a peek on the forums. They are so well organised and Dizzy Age (and all the walkthroughs/maps) are kept so up to date that the answers are already there if I have a look!!

Saying that .... I still have a peek on the site everyday when I am checking my email ........ I've turned in2 a total Dizzy geek {yolkfolk}

Its the case with all forums, a small handful will post quite often, some just post when they feel they must

oh yeah.
but you get members who sign up and never post.. lol
i just don't see the logic.

I belong to a few forums that I have never posted to. The reason I do it is because I probably only visit them couple of times a week and if you are logged in then it shows which posts are unread. Just makes things easier for me.

I actually signed up to ask for help with TUCA, then I didn't come on for a couple weeks (I had a lot of games to get through)

Perhaps some of them wanted to use the search as I don't think it's available to none members. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Also with some forums there are extra threads available to members and perhaps they wanted to see what the benefits were to registering.

Anyway despite some of them never posting it still makes the members list larger which isn't a bad thing, just would be nice to see more active people.

Personally for me, I'm more lurking than anything these days mainly due to time constraints so this has cetainyl knocked my good intentions on posting on the forums, although I have felt this is something I had to reply to today lol

Various forums I'm on (here, Atari forum, retro remakes, WOS etc to name but a few) sadly only get a quick look-in, although I do try to take a daily look in the vein hope that anything new I cant note and hopefulyl come back to when life and work is less demanding
