Put simply, I loved this game! You really know how to do high-class games with some puzzles (I'm talking about Diamond Mine Dizzy, I've only started this one) being even more ingenious than Oliver's.
I have a slight problem though... what the heck is going on with that tightrope?!
Once I walked over with no problems but now Dizzy keeps losing balance. BTW, I found a slight bug: after you lose your balance on tightrope you sometimes may go left and avoid falling into the "big bad hole"
Only problem is that if you lost your balance and don't fall into the hole, you can't get on the tightrope anymore. {yolkfolk}
Those water drips are nasty too!

hmmm yeah. it re-sets the rope when you die. unfortunately if i moved the collision detecter more away from the edge there would have been a change that you could have jumped and got to the other side.
unless anyone thinks otherwise?
Three questions:
1) Is there a point of waking Dozy up?
2) I think that not all puzzles are that easy, but arcade challenges are really much harder.
3) Are you as sneaky about diamonds as in Diamond Mine Dizzy? :surprise:

1. yes.
2. that's the way it's meant to be
3. if you mean treasure, it's not even close to sneaky. most are out in the open.
Well I've got as far as I can go... found all the treasure but haven't a clue about how to escape! can't unlock that chest and all i have left that i haven't used is the explorer's knife and the umbrella {yolkfolk}
if you'd used the knife, you'd have got something to enable you to get out.
unfortunately if you fall into the room with the chest without using the knife, you're trapped. start again.
Oh I shall... despite it seeming that I've already tried 'knifing' everything I can think of... :surprise:
Finito at last! {yolkfolk}
Well, I wasn't expecting my escape from the tomb with the pharoah's loot to be unhindered somehow... perhaps you felt you'd exhausted your cruel streak already with all the hidden traps and split-second jumps! {yolkfolk}
Great game, roll on the next!
well you still had the jumps to time correctly, plus the tightrope thing, as for some people, that would have been the first time they tried going over it with more than one item...
Yes it didn't strike me just quite how sadistic that was until undertaking the one-at-a-time task at the very end lol
SLIDER has made a map of this game, no idea how long ago that was made but if you wish to take a peek, It's now on TTD's game entry on Yolkfolk.com, in the Cheats/Maps page.

he's even put the hiding places of the hidden treasure too...
Help im stuck at the 1st puzzle, well the 1st one ive found. the death room (one where the walls crush you) any pointers. {yolkfolk}
tried everything ive got
book of hide and seek
ancient scroll
tweezers
knife
did wonder if you could wake dozy by pinching him but nope drawn an abosolute :egg:
Sorry for digging up an old thread
Ohh had a look at the map thats up for it, seems theres a bit under the walkway
cheers
only way i can see is from the other side, which i cant get to unless the theres a way through the suspended walkway. nothing cuts through it tho {yolkfolk}
