Help
i cant find the ring, or do that much else really. Have got to Zaks tower even to the chasem but cant find the ring.
but do have lots of i take it spare items.
pickaxe
mining helmet
anvil - going by the other thread this is a red herring {dizzy}:huh:

diary
elf leaf
normal leaf
goblin dagger
battle horn.
broken bricks

somebody give me a pointer please {dizzy}:huh: i havent een watched the films / read the book(s)

I thought I'd have a proper go today and I'm absolutly terrible with trying to get further, and like the gooner I've never really watched the LOTR movies or read the books.

The items I've got are:
- Gobin Dagger
- Dead frog
- Herring
- Shark Repelant
- Empty bucket
- Normal Leaf
- Wizard's hat
- Poisoned Birdseed

That's how badly I'm doing :confused:

you only need 1 of those items throught the whole game.
i take it you havent went to the left at the start {yolkfolk}:delight:
try having a look around

I have the 'One Ring' but don't know what to do with it. I have all the expected items but Zaks isn't interested in dying by any of them, so I presumably can't get past him to presumably throw the Ring where it's presumably meant to be thrown.

It is a brilliant 1st game BTW! {yolkfolk}:clap:

...and Happy New Year to EVERYONE who has worked so hard and given up their own time to give us Dizzy adventures during the past year. Thank you so much.

I haven't been here much the last couple weeks due to work (and figuring out my second Dizzy game: "Starship Dizzy") but I just noticed this.

If you haven't solved it yet, my advice is to look for another way through the tower other than past the Dark Wizard Zaks and his flaming eye.

I can't see the wood through the trees! Help!

I can't solve Moogle's riddle, can't get past the balrock (or whatever it's Dizzy name is!). I'm having a 'mare, please help me. I'm being a muppet!

Great game though, nice.

Got loads of development work on at the moment, but thinking of doing a Mighty Boosh Dizzy game. No promises, will keep you posted.

You won't 'solve' Moogle's riddle until you have got past the Gorlab - doing which is quite element-ary, you might say.

Ah. You've got to stand VERY close to it!

Puzzle was easy, just implementation was a bit off, imo. I'd have expected it to work on any part of the little ledge the Gorlab is standing on.

I think that's was a decent game, only criticism is if the puzzles were more difficult, you wouldn't want too many 'dummy' items knocking about. If you use an item, remove it from the game unless you need to use it again.

im stuck!!!

ive gone to town and got the bucket of water, anvil, axe, wood. ive got the wizards hat, the leaf, the dead frog, red herring, miners helmet, pickaxe, and book. ive got to the gorlab thing and cant get across at all. ive jumped from every possible distance but cant seem to get there. what do i do next?????? {yolkfolk}:scratch:

I said this in the Fan Games section, but it's better placed here.

Stand just before the 'lip' of the left side of the bridge - the crack should be between Dizzy's feet. Then jump right.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Sorry about the difficulty of this part (the only thing in the game that isn't simple!), I have learned my lesson since about requiring pixel-perfect jumping over a deadly substance. Especially when I had put the game out with the "SAVE" feature disabled. That was evil. :devil:

How can i get ring from Gollum? I found Zaks castle with Sauron eye and the pit of despair and elftree leaf. But Gollum didn't take this leaf.
