not sure what you mean by that, but if i did do 'mini games' they would be my interpretation of them, like BTD was my interpretation of Bubble Dizzy.

After all, this game was built especially for the Sega Mega Drive if Fantastic Dizzy would be remade as a Speccy game I'd like to see it identical to the Mega Drive (original) version, Hmm, now why is everyone calling the Sega Genesis version "the original"? As far I can figure, it was first developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and in fact was one of the first games CodeMasters started developing for the NES. Here, these articles from NES World should help explain the collaboration of CodeMasters and Camerica and the different versions of The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy:

I mean, you can judge just by the fact that there was an earlier NES version, the one released on gold cartridges in North America, that the later ones were made to make its interface and layout friendlier, and the ports to other systems were based on those later versions. I suppose the situation might have appeared different in Europe, though, possibly due to a smaller gap in the timing of the releases or a larger gap in the popularity of the NES compared to the Genesis. But if you want to talk about "the original", I think that's the one you should be talking about!

On the other hand, any remake should probably be based on the later releases of Fantastic Dizzy, since the changes tended to make the game more forgiving and improve the overall flow. But I think it would be cool to bundle in the layout of the very first NES version as a "second quest"! Should keep the same interface for that, though... Maybe some of those things could be options too. Like, hold a button to make Dizzy run faster, or give the player the option of how to collect and select items.
