Thank you!!!!!!
if anyone still needs help with this, the walkthrough is now available on DizzyAGE.
1. Lost Cargo - a very annoying bug
http://thumbnails13.imagebam.com/4112/3719ab41114108.gif
this bug is only occured BEFORE The Shark Puzzle is completed.
look at the picture. move Dizzy slowly to the right, but don't go into the next screen.
see that Dizzy will get hurt without seeing the shark. if you move to the next screen slowly, Dizzy will get hurt about 30 points of his health for just seeing the shark from a far. only jump to the next screen will prevent this bug.
Dizzy: "i just knowing that a shark has a special power to kill you from a far! event my egg skin cannot parry that power!"
2. No-Name Room
http://thumbnails6.imagebam.com/4112/5c6d9141114126.gif
Dizzy: "take my picture! explorer like me always have a record for his journey. but hey? where am i? how could i save this picture's name? (sigh!)"
beelzebub: "you're in the room close to the first boulder. but only god and creator of this game have a right to name that room."
3. Hanging-Rope Walker - a very funny bug
http://thumbnails16.imagebam.com/4112/da2ba541114083.gif
Dizzy: "tee-hee, it's cool. i just fallen off the bridge and find this place to relax a bit. perhaps i will excercise this and take this skill as my primary job after i retire from saving the world of dizzy."
*20 hours later*
Dizzy: "somebody get me outta here!"
4. DON'T ASK ME WHY I'M HERE!
http://thumbnails8.imagebam.com/4112/62f2df41114011.gif
Dizzy: "help me, smuggly, i'm stuck here and cannot move!"
Smugglers: "only if you promise to bring me something more valuable than the two before!"

where? i didn't find any .. i'm posting my questions here:
1. the soggy ice cream cone
http://thumbnails16.imagebam.com/4112/33d05741114210.gif
see that shop picture? only one room left to sell things. but the shopkeeper said his shop is full, so i couldn't sell again. i haven't bought the motor and miner's hermet yet. but perhaps i'll find other sea plant or something that i could sell for free later in the sea screen that i haven't explored.
there's no room left for the soggy ice cream cone and the 3 fluppy-nips left. i'm really really sure that they must have a use! seeing the next screen i cannot reach, i'm pretty sure that there must be a flipper somewhere.
the question is, what i must do with the soggy ice cream cone? i give up for this! no more try! hint please!
i have only 3 fluffle-nips and the soggy ice cream cone also snorkle and goggle. others are used and/or sold.
2. My petty cash and current score
again, see the above picture. 34 (from 85 collected) 55100 points
i replay my game, and sure that (as the progress so far) i have explored all of the rooms, found all the hidden coins, sold all possible things, never did a selling-buying for the same thing and never get hurt (because i reload it). even i filled the bucket before i sell it!
but still, i only collect 34 coins, isn't enough to buy the motor, and only get 55100 points, which far from 70000 possible i saw in the highscore list when i died before.
the questions are:
must i play the Dizzy game in the projector room to get more coins to finished the game? i tried before, i can get few coins from playing the game. but since it tooks me so long to get much and simply expensive to play one game, i reload my save game.
or is there any room that i haven't explored yet which needed the miner's helmet, to boost my wallet and scores? i never bought that thing cause i don't know where and how to use it.
3. Please, teach me how to play 'Ghost Bash'
:teethy:
4. Likes:
- Forgotten Storage (see the picture)
http://thumbnails11.imagebam.com/4112/757d4241114061.gif
can i print that Dizzy close-up painting and attach it on my monitor?
- only in this game i ever heard a devil say "please.."
- second dragon, remind me of king's quest 1. first dragon, i need to open a dictionary to solve this puzzle. :teethy:
- The Blowhole. wheeee.. i use this hole for more than hundreds.
5. Great game, Jamie! two thumbs up!
this game beats 'Fantastic Dizzy' as my fave Dizzy game ever! kudos!

i *kinda* know about this bug. i tried to fix it, but for some reason it doesn't want to be fixed. I'll have another go when i fix the other bugs detailed below.
2. No-Name Room
oops...
seriously though, there are over 300 rooms in this game! thought i'd got them all though...
oops again!

again i'll fix this. unfortunately it'll mean that previous saved games won't work anymore.
Thanks!
regarding your other questions:
the walkthrough is here: https://www.yolkfolk.com/dizzyage/game.php?id=146
the soggy ice cream cone has no use.
the miners helmet has no use.
2 of the fluffle nips have no use.
i'll fix the 'shop full' bug with the others (i never tried to fill it!)
if you've found all 100 hidden coins (seriously WELL DONE if you have!), and have not wasted any money buying/selling items you don't need to, then you should have just enough coins to finish the game.
there are a total of 27 normal items you can sell (after using them) to get coins, and a total of 9 items hiding coins that you can also sell for coins.
some items will gain you 0 coins when you sell them to the shopkeeper (mainly items used for hiding coins). it is therefore pointless to sell them to him, as they only take up space in the shop.
in addition:
giving the Juicy Apple to the scientist will gain you 1 coin
stroking the cat will gain you a total of 4 coins
opening the chest will gain you 1 coin in total, (use 99 coins to buy the key, gain 70 coins using it, gain 30 coins selling the key, = total gain of 1 coin {yolkfolk} )
if you do all this, then it's possible to have an excess of 45 coins when you finish the game, without needing to play the arcade games.
regarding the arcade game 'Ghost Bash', you need to jump on the heads of the Ghosts to kill them. Personally, this is the only game where i can't make a profit! I think 'Coin Drop' is the easiest game.

regarding your other questions:

if i knew before that the soggy ice cream cone ISN'T THE ONLY SOGGY THING we could find in the game, i would ignore it
if you've found all 100 hidden coins (seriously WELL DONE if you have!)
:teethy:
so close! (see the picture) i'll try again with the new version

7 kinds exactly, with 2 kinds have a double

i did it before, but i just realized so much caring a cat will give you more coins. why 4? not 9? one for each soul .. :teethy:

i don't know why i decided on 4. i guess i thought people would get bored if it went on too long.
I've cheated and looked up the walkthrough, but I can't find a few things...
OK, so currently I have the crate, secateurs, twigs and goggles.
As far as I can tell, I need the fluffle-nip to progress... but I can't find it! Is it obvious (like, is it one of the background plants - I've been clicking everywhere and can't find it!)? Or do I win it from a puzzle or find it somewhere?
Also haven't come across the cat - several people above seem to have found it despite not seeming to be as far through as me, so I'm wondering whether I've missed it...
All help much appreciated!!
EDIT: Don't worry, I suddenly realised that there was a plant that had had a message attached!! Got cat and fluffle-nip now!
Score 69440 points, played for 67 hours 17m (although some of this was from leaving the computer unattended!), reloaded 69 times.
I used the walkthrough and some hints from this thread though, otherwise would've taken a lot longer!
Excellent game, loved the arcade stuff and the reality goggles... though I was raelly dim at first, and didn't realise I could take the goggles off while underground - so spent ages trying to get back out!!!
1. YAY!
http://thumbnails15.imagebam.com/4330/f952b943294627.gif
the last 2 coins are really difficult to find. behind one other 'soggy' thing and behind one 'uncommon' thing. the places are really tricky.
2. Max Scores for Non Arcade-Gamers (possibly, but really sure about this)
http://thumbnails16.imagebam.com/4330/8ee72d43294639.gif
3. Whale-Rider (before buying motor)
something to remember from illusion island, great experience for dizzy

Dizzy: "i've changed my mind. this is surely much more fun than walking in a hanging-rope. i'll take this as my primary job after retiring from saving the world of dizzy."
4. oh yeah .. i start the game using setup.exe, windowed mode, the number of version is still 1.13. but all the bugs fixed.
OK, my turn to give up… where do I find Crow’s Nest? (or who do I get it from and for what?)… thanks!
Think what else is called a 'crow's nest'... then see if you can find one! It's not all that obvious that it's something you can pick up, but if you just click away you'll get it!
HINT: You need to go underwater

that's rather odd that, as playing it from the pak file i had, it was saying it was v1.13, but playing it from the master data file it was saying v1.14 {yolkfolk}
i've re-paked it anyway and sent it to alex and adz.
odd.
oh and well done for getting all the coins! {yolkfolk}
2. Max Scores for Non Arcade-Gamers (possibly, but really sure about this)
that's slightly odd too, as i have the maximum score (without playing the arcade) as being 68100. strange. {yolkfolk}
i have a list of how that breaks down if anyone wants to see it. (i needed to have a list to keep track of how many points you could get!)
EDIT:: my bad, i now get the maximum score (without playing the arcade) as being 71200. Dunno where the 250 difference is!
i have a note from every dizzy game i've played. i'll make a list later and send it to your email after finishing one of meph's game i currently play
Hi, this game is great - it's HUGE and making my brain cells work overtime big style. I have one issue just now, I have looked everywhere for white Dora, I have the thing she needs but I've lost her!! Can anyone give me a clue as to which area I should look harder in (I'm aware I need to be using the goggles by the way). Help appreciated, have looked through the rest of the thread and can't find any clue anywhere {yolkfolk}:tired:
EDIT: ok scratch that, I'm obviously tired! Found her. The thing she gave me doesn't help the crow though?? Thought it might, any clues as to where I may find the item that does help the crow..?
i saw you say the other day you were going to try this game next, and i wondered how long it'd be until you posted in here!
it is entirely possible that you've not yet got to the part of the game where you get the item that the crow needs. It needs a bit of lateral thinking, but once you have it, you'll know!
