I think I might be going, also may mean I can pick up a classic arcade game the same day.

Seems a bit of a rip off that you have to pay a £1 deliver charge on each ticket, AND pay £1.75 to collect the tickets at the box office, so what was the delivery charge for again?

The lecture was excellent. Lots of big Dizzy fans. Some cute stories about how they came up with the characters, and the programming and they explained why you only had one life in Treasure Island which was quite funny (programming problem and lack of time to fix it). They did a Q and A at the end too.

Well worth going. The exhibition upstairs is a lot of fun too. Huge hand drawn maps of the games, floor to roof Dizzy displays. Dizzy heaven.

I have to admit i geeked out totally.

Just got home from this and really enjoyed the whole thing.

It was great to see the original maps drawn by the twins and to hear a insite into the making of the games.

It was also wonderful to see a room full of Dizzy fans.

I'd be suprised if they had not!

I only spoke too a couple of people at the end though, as most people were busy playing around with a 3d* game on 360 / ps3 made by Blitz games.

*Real 3d game with glasses, that I must admit made my eyes go a bit funny afterwards.

I was the guy in the dizzy T-Shirt, I asked them about the dizzy games and they said they had tried some of the ones in the competition, but didn't have time to play them, also mentioned about the remakes of the old games about why and they didn't understand why either except "fix a few of the bugs while you're there"

That was a cool shirt you had on. Me and my friend were going to get some red boxing gloves but thought that may have been a little over the top.

I think It would've gone over the top of you painted yourselves white and had red shoes with those boxing gloves.
