Hey, we have solar power, there must be other types of energy we can harness in an efficient way without having to rely on third party providers... But, even if a way is invented, it would never be allowed to be common-place: There's too much money to be made on it. Slightly cynical, but hey :smile:
oh and i forgot to say too that within 5 or 10 years, you should be able to buy batteries/chargers for laptops, mobile phones etc that will take mere seconds to fully charge your phone, or just a minute or so to fully charge your laptop battery.
