Daisy Goes Solo (HELP THREAD)

OK, let's try and remember. The clouds to the right of the tree complex are mainly to get to the shed above the guarded tunnel. If the guards are still around then there's some things you need to do in that tunnel (and the bell in the tree)

As you have the 30 coins you should now be able to get past the customs official on magic island (green teleport).

I think I've taken care of everything in the tunnel. I've got rid of the first guard using the bell, but there's still Shooty McShooterson lurking at the bottom of the tree complex. It may be that there's something I have to do inside the tunnel that I've missed.

It's 32 coins isn't? I'm not getting past with 30.

Sorry RandomGirl, can't remember why I made it 32 instead of 30, but did you check the chest that the balloon came out of, I hid a couple of coins under the other item (bridge kit?). Check the shadows in the first part of the tunnel to access the second part of the tunnels ...and get rid of all the 'shooty mcshootersons'. Don't forget to use the spanner you find there on the bell as you'll need the bell later.

Thanks Grandad, that's opened the game right up for me. I knew something was going on with that tunnel but I just didn't hit enter in the right place.

A side question if I may: what specific events triggers the Scooby Van's disappearance? I accidentally deleted a saved game and had to start again. The first time around, the van disappeared pretty quickly and left the object behind. This time around, I've actually got as far as the tower roof without it disappearing. Is this a bug or is there something I have to do to trigger it?

Hi RandomGirl, the event that triggers the van disappearing and the oil can appearing is when Daisy looks through the telescope on top of the hill.

Howdy people and fellow dizzy fans.
Been lurking for few days and working my way through some of the games but none finished yet jst been having a shifty at them. Anyhoo thought id give this 1 a shot but am stuck so can any1 help.
Read thread and found post with same prob as me but still cant figure out answer.
Ive got to tree complex and cut fence at both sides and seen shed and chest but cant open either of them. Some1 said something about snails pace for the keys and the reply was about checking the door and window frames but i havnt seen any windows so didnt know what this meant and clicking shed dorr and round doesnt do or find anything. The only snail i can see is the 1 i had to jump over to get to shed in 1st place and its fastest snail i ever did see unless what i thought was a squirell is snail meant but still same area.
Ive only got 23 coins so far and think i should maybe have more by now got 1 behind bridge but as said before cant find any window frames to get other hidden 1.
Please help some1 im going bananas trying to get out of here.

Prince, the key to the 'shed' is in the hut at the top left of the tree complex where the 'fast' snail is . Just action the door to enter the hut. There's a coin in there too!

That was the problem i couldnt find a hut and couldnt get any higher than that superfast slug thing.
My 5yr old nephew found the ledge within 5 minutes of playing from my last save point.
God knows how i missed it.
Lordy lordy lordy that tower is a bugger by the way.
Would get through 1 room and think thats it surely and then thered be another 1.
So nephew and me have got to what is probs last hurdle and what to use on the switch to make bell ring.
Finally completed.

How do i get the cheese, to put down the rat hole to entice the rat?

Would be grateful for any help

If memory serves, the cheese is got from the monk outside the monastry by answering his koan which is the book on the shelf in the Yeti's library. You need a ball to knock the book down, which you find by dropping a small stone (lying around on the floor somewhere) into the small hole in the caves and knocking the ball out of a lower cave.

Hi,can someone help please,I can see a coin on the ledge under the snakes in the tree complex but i cant get at it.

Have tried jumping from everywhere that i can think of but i just keep missing the ledge.

Thought the diy bridge kit might help but unfortunately not.

can i have some help please to any one still paying and reading threads i can see 2 coins but can not get either, one uner the snakes keep trying jump but missing the ledge and the other on the snow drift i can not make that jump over there either and from reading the threads there is a mirror over there as well, i am quite far in the game now just waiting on these 2 coins and mirror to get further. x

For the one near the snakes you need to smash through the platform directly above it. For the one near the snow you need to cause an avalanche.

I haven't been able to locate a butterfly net, or the conker.

I also don't know what a conker is, but hopefully that will be corrected when I find it.

EDIT: It just just occurred to me to try the oil can on the dumpster in the alley. I feel kind of dumb now.

DragonRaider - a conker is the fruit of the Horse Chestnut tree.

Any idea where I can find a hanky? I see the rat problem requires it, but I can't seem to locate it.

Didn't realise anyone was having a go at my very first game. You need to get the kite from the tree and give it to the boy who's lost it. He gives you his conker and you then use it on the bully boy on top of the small hillock. He won't play conkers with 'girls' but will give you a handkerchief.

I really enjoyed your Treasure Island and Spellbound games, so decided to try some of your other stuff.

I never would have guessed that there was a kite up in that tree. I made quite a bit of progress thanks to that. I've made it through Deserted Island, and have obtained the Pan Pipes, Balloon, and Crowbar. I'm honestly at a bit of a loss as to where to go next.

Did the reaper-looking guy want something? I cannot recall.
