Official welcome to the community, most of what you have said I could of said lol....Im form Yorkshire too, virtually same age, played the dizzy games when was young, and then I was surprised with the fan games and I never thought I could ever make one, no chance, but Jamie (Delta) doing the tutorials I was able to learn...worth a look at if nowt else...
