A little earlier than last year, the DizzyAGE Easter Competition 2010 is waiting for game entries and sponsors!
Check the DizzyAGE website and don't forget to refresh the pages. Also check the competition history page
I don't know how many games will be in this time but, since last year there were plenty of prizes, I recommend for people who want to offer money to have it as a single bigger prize instead of many smaller ones. Also remember that everyone who's offering a prize is responsable for delivering it to the winner who will choose it.
I hope for many great games and I wish everyone good luck! Alex
I hope to enter 'Hide & Seek Dizzy' into the competition.
It was originally my intention to enter 'Dizzys Dream home 2' but there is no way I could get it into a sort of finished state like I normally do. Therefore a couple of weeks ago I put it on hold and started on a game that could be completed in time. Work will resume on 'Dizzys Dream Home 2' after the competition.
See the work in progress thread for more information on the game.
Providing it's finished.. no reason why i shouldn't, might be ready of testing early-mid March i hope.. This game is in the same traditions as Emerald City and Mysterious realm im terms of gameplay, visually and tone. But much much much better.
Wow - look forward to that one Meph, {yolkfolk}:thumb:
It's ages till May and at this rate, it looks like this year the number of entries will easily be in double figures for the first time!!! {dizzy}
oh, btw Queex, just lookin at the comp rules - if you did wanna submit an updated version for any reason, incl. bug fixes etc, you can do so up until May 1st...

hopefully!
we've still to hear about Grogg Island Dizzy, and Colin's new game too.
who knows, we may even get Detective Eye Dizzy from Bazi, and maybe - just maybe - Peter's remake of Spellbound Dizzy! :surprise:
I don't think i'll be entering this year. mine's in development hell at the moment. i'm struggling with the map design and what i've been trying, just isn't working. I can't see it being be ready for the deadline!
I updated the competition page with "Lost Temple Dizzy" and "Heart-Land Dizzy".
Queex you can send me the game when you feel it's ready for release. Meph, maybe you can give us a few hints about the story, just enough to write next to your entry.
Dizzy is not in the best of moods. King Bertram I, Dragon Valley's new defender of the faith, has sent him and the rest of the Yolkfolk into exile. Dizzy is determined to make his stay a short one. Now he has to deal with an island chock full of cannibals, chancers and goodfernothin' pirates even if he has to resort to underhanded techniques. So, will Dizzy keep his cool? {dizzy}
