{yolkfolk}:jawdrop:  not even pt3 or the Galaxy dizzy game?

[/quote]

you mean RoTR? It'll probably get done sometime, even if it takes a few years.

as for GBD tho, don't expect to ever see it, then you won't be disappointed.

One last thing. Don’t expect any more games from me after ETD. There may be, but it’s more likely that there won’t be.

I think everyone has been spoilt with the plethora of games you have created to date, all the time that goes into them im sure all dizzy fan gamers really appreciate.

Certainly from me thanks for them as I really enjoyed playing them & many thanks for all the coding help to enable me to make mine too. Feels like a testimonial lol.... {yolkfolk}:joy:

I'm committed all being well to produce one more game for everyone to enjoy sometime in the future (ive already got a name for it)

I would like to echo my appreciation Jamie for all your hard work and effort, I for one, have really enjoyed ALL of your games - every frustrating, challenging and deliriously happy moment of solving the puzzles and looking for the deviously hidden coins  *Huge* thanks for making them.

And Lord Dizzy, I VERY much look forward to your next adventure...

ETD is pretty damn difficult!

In fact, it's so difficult that I'm seriously considering adding 'extra lives' to the game. I've never done that before, and don't particularly like the feature, but the game will just be too damn hard without it.

In other updates, I'm hoping to release it before the comp ends. Although it may be right at the very end.

I currently have:

- all the boulders to code
- the two custom movements to code
- 5 'switch' puzzles to code, and 2 to modify the difficulty of
- all the 'normal' puzzles to think of, add, and code
- all the coins to add
- all the baddies to add
- the ending to do
- the intro and main menu screens to do
- the lifebar 'fix' to code

and probably quite a bit of other stuff too. As you can see, to do all that in three weeks will be quite touch-and-go...

Sounds is going to be a great challenge & some novel features. Is a lot to do in relatively short space of time, good luck with it, but like frogandhat says is next years too although looking forward to this one.

Prize update: £10 from Peter Teal
Thanks Peter!

Not so many prizes this year indeed. I somehow regret the 2 games per player decision

So if anyone have anything valuable... like gloves, boots (has to be red though), coins, diamonds, even some pieces of railings...

if there's not too many prizes by close of nominations, you could always amend the rule to say that just the highest placed game from a player gets a prize?

Have you asked Blitz? Meeting the Olivers was a big prize last year. Or maybe some copies of their new games?
Or the people who sponsored last year: t-shirts, plush toys or Mr Frent?

to be perfectly honest, if I was Blitz, I wouldn't offer the prize again this year.

The reasoning is thus: Sure, the first year was a great success, three of us went, plus Alex and Cristina, and it was a good day out. The problem is that the second year, I was the only one that accepted the prize, and even with Alex and Cristina going again, they were basically showing us the same stuff we'd seen the previous year.

It doesn't take a genius to see that they basically took most of a day out of their schedule to show us stuff that we'd mostly already seen a year earlier. What exactly is the point? And why offer a good prize like that if people simply aren't going to accept?

So I'd be surprised if it's offered again this year. They simply won't see the point.

Well this year theres are many more people taking part who might be able to attend.
If i go I'll have to stay over night and it gets costly that with taking the time off work to do so as well.

Those mugs are cool. One of those would look ace next to my pirate and sheriff hat mugs. Ah novelty mugs; too hard to drink from, too funny to throw away.
