Eggfried - Gavlaa said earlier in the thread that he recommended regualr saves! I lost count of how many times I re-loaded in the mines, it can be a bit frustrating when you make 1 small mistake and then have to restart that section, but then thats part of the challenge I think.
I really enjoyed all of this game, so think you are missing out if you do quit, and anyway, now you know how to get that far, it'll probably take less than an hour to get back to the point you were at.
Sorry that I've frustrated you so much EggFried, but isn't that the reason for having 3 save points in a game. I'm sure I'm not the only person to use one save point at the start of a potentially tricky section and use the other two during the section so that you can always restart the section if you get totally screwed ...and I did give a big hint at the start of the mine section about getting trapped.
Well i found a stick and froze a snake not sure how this stick works i found some water above the jail and it didn't do anything.. am i meant to just keep it in the inventory or do i need to click around with it?

I've unscrewed the barrel but haven't found anything to put in it. (if thats whats needed) And i need to way to stuff the water hole i think.. tried using cork screw and flag lol other then that i can't find anything else to be working on ? (do need an umbrella but not seen one)

Do you mean the barrel near the place where you're imprisoned (sorry, been a while since I played this!)? If so, then you probably have what you need - you want to put in something that wouldn't be nice to swallow...
You should have picked it up at the same time you got the rubber bung.
Meph - both your problems are connected - you need to make the rubber bung. So you need to think about where rubber comes from- there is a clue already as someone has already been doing the same collecting some earlier. You have the required item. You then need to collect the liquid rubber into a suitable receptacle, and then get it out again.
Am i meant to die when i jump out of the water? (im in the mines and trying to get that last gem) not sure whats killing me when i climb out. It just says oops.. lol
Ah thats alright i see what happened. pushed a rock down and then jumped i must have died hitting the water... i thought i landed on the rock and died jumping out. lol
:confused: i haven't got the correct item to progress further in the mines the flagpole wont shift theses bugger. . But i did use the library card.. but can't find how i read the book.
The library card should allow you to read a book that you werent interested in earlier. As i recall, the items you need in the mines are the flag pole, wheel and whip. The first item you need to use in the right order, or you can easily trap yourself! :surprise:
Well I've got the book but i can't read it. Just can't get past theses two rocks, they're are too stuck to use the flagpole, nothing else i have works so i must have to do something else first.
Meph - the idea behind the book puzzle, was that Daisy was only interested in reading it when she had been told about the 'goddess' and then had the problem of getting the book cos it had a translation section at the back.
As far as the boulders in the mine go, all of them can be moved with the flagpole. it's just that the top right one above the water should be left alone, and the two rocks on top of each other should be left until the lift is working ...and the other two items needed are the wheel and the spanner.
Oh dear Meph, I hope you saved at the start of the mine. the rock that falls into the water blocks your path to the lift if you drop down the pit after activating the lift and draining the water. So do the two rocks that get 'stuck' at the bottom. The only way up from the pit is via the lift.
