Hi Grandad, thanks for getting back to me. I've tried doing the switch again but when I walk past the door of the spike room I still hit a brick wall. Feel sure I'm missing something really obvious. Am I?

Daisy Goes Solo Pt. 2 (HELP THREAD)

I'll dig out the map and have a quick look to see if I can spot what's going on.
OK, the switch just past the little tunnels opens the gate next to it and when you action it the third time you get the message about hearing another gate open. This refers to the gate at the left end of the room with the key on the floor. Then you enter the spike room and pull the lever to open the gate underneath the spike room door. Exit the spike room, go right, down the steps and left. That takes you into the room with the key and the left gate is now open so just ignore the key and walk left into the room with the wine barrel. All the gates now stay open, just in case you have to go back to pick up any items you need.

I feel like this is much more difficult than Part 1 and 2018's remake of part 1. I am going in circles for quite some time now. I have two main problems: How to get an umbrella and how to deal with the inhibitant of the Citadel. I unscrewed the top of the barrel but have nothing to dop in there. According to this thread, the thing for that comes in after the umbrella puzzle but I cant figure it out at all. Im stuck very badly, please help.
you have to drop something made of glass and put that in his wine {eggs2}:jumpup:
The only glass item I has is Empty Glass Flask but Daisy refuses to drop it from the tree.
This is a bit of a nasty puzzle Dizzy9. You need to fill the empty flask with rubber from the r/h rubber tree that you used the corkscrew on and drop it onto the flat rock from the branch above it (the coconut tree) to get a bung and glass shards. Then you have to undo the top of the wine barrel and drop the glass shards into the barrel and then fill the glass and give it to the man who dies {special}:skull: ... {special}:chug:
Its so cruel yet i did it. Was able to get rid of hyena and im stuck already since daisy cannot move rocks in the mine. Talked to everyone but noone cares to help. Still no idea about the umbrella puzzle, how to move rocks, how to get into police station. Discovered that there an echo in small cave near warden. Used gun in there but warden gets back quickly, even if I wrong warp back to a screen with him. What am i missing?
Sorry for double post but I was unable to make progress. Any tips on anything from the problems in previous post?
I have a feeling like I should enter the jail(old posts mention Daisy can get arrested) but I cant figure out how.
EDIT:
Turns out I lost the handcuffs (either by a bug or (more likely) by leaving it in one of the huts). This resulted in a soft lock I was not aware of. I only realized that once I restarted the whole game.
TLDR: I was able to finish the game after all. Thanks for help.
