Story

Dizzy Legends
=============
A long time ago, countless years before the time of Dizzy and the present Yolkfolk, evil and oppression were the watchwords of the land. Common yolkfolk were suppressed, beaten and tortured. The land itself had a dark dank air of fear and terror, and an oppressive, twisted, and paranoid leader ruled with an iron fist...

Chapter 2: Curse of the Mystics
===============================
13 years have passed since the rise of The Lord of Darkness, and the Lord has long since receded into himself, growing ever more bitter and twisted with every passing year. The Castle of Illumination has long since lost its shine and sparkle, instead becoming a monstrous forboding presence, towering over the land and keeping the common subjects constantly fearful of their lives.

The Lord himself is bordering on the edge of madness, now almost obsessive in his belief that someone will plot against him as he did against the king before him. Rumours have reached him that the son of the long dead king is planning a coup, and in his madness, the Lord has turned to mystics and sorcerers to guide him and help remove the threat to his rule...

v1.01 will be available to download shortly. Basically it fixes a rather obscure bug that can happen when finishing a level, causing the vertical movement to be slightly wrong on the next level.

Save games from v1.0 will still work, but if you do continue to play with v1.0 and get that problem, email me your saved game file and i'll fix it for you.

I've got your save game, and will fix it tomorrow for you.

Please people, if you still haven't downloaded v1.01, do so before you get the bug too. It's less hassle than sending me your save game if you do get the bug!

Wow what a great game this is!! Each level just gets better and better.
Its amazing how its even better than TLOD yet still keeps the same great feel.
The scrolling and graphics are a real treat and every puzzle feels rewarding to solve.

Excellent stuff!

I hope you get time to make the sequel - I think the story is set up really nicely now - does it leave the story open for a new character? a young Great Grand Dizzy perhaps?

Yeah! finished!! {yolkfolk}:clap: {yolkfolk}:clap:

Another great game Jamie!
i dont know how you keep coming up with so many great ideas - but I am sure glad you do! Love the way that some of the puzzles have red herring objects as well - or maybe i read too much into it - eg for the 2 truths i also tried the map (its a true map after all) and the flower (beauty is truth...)

I just dont know what to do with the competition voting, as all the games are REALLY strong {dizzy}:huh:

Thanks once again for all your hard work, I and many others really appreciate it (even if we lose more hair with each game :teethy: )
