Huckleberry - the objects you need to start with are very close to the entrance - but there is a map available, if you work for it

Yes, there is a map for the basement and you can get a light so you can see properly down there too!
lol So what am i meant to be doing then?
If i can't get the gate key to get into the arsonists hut... it means i can't use my sticks or note i wrote after taking the lie potion, and my two spells can't be used yet...
I haven't got anything else... other then a bucket and some healing ingredients.. Theres only a Witch to speak with. I tried throwing a bucket of water over the evil witch.
Can't be that difficult with so little items and things to do.. :surprise:
Meph, if you list every item that you have access to, and i mean every single item (even if you think they may be of no use), i'll see if i can be of some help.

(btw, the light was a last minute addition, as were the shadows. I decided that it was too hard to get lost down there with being able to see the whole screen!) :tongue:

no no no, WHICH books? if you have any with a funny drawing on the front, rather than the usual standard design, then it can be used.
right, either you haven't found something, or you've used a potion but not got past what you should have done. I suspect you've used the Potion of Dull Senses needlessly. If not, you need the meditation pendant and the paracetamol to get it.
EDIT:: also, you'll be pleased to learn that you're actually pretty close to the end of that level.
EDIT:: scrap that, i've been looking through your past posts. Have you done the 'world' tarot card yet? if not, you've missed an item that you can use. I suspect that the spade is still lying in the grass, and you've simply missed it. Correct?

I used the dull senses potion to get across those hot ashes.
I haven't done the world tarot card yet and i used the spade to dig up some coins.. which i used to bribe a Mystic i think.
I think it disappeared after i used it.. don't recall seeing it again.

Crap... i think i need to start over and play the fixed versions because i can't move up or down once i opened the first door.
