Have you got the spyglass item, that will get you the item that leads you to getting the detonator. Can't remember how/where you get that.

You cant get past the bats, but they are (like seemingly everyone else in this game :teethy: hungry)
There is something nearby that they can eat, but how can you entice them down ?

For the numbers, it the combination to a hidden safe but where would you hide it?

And well done Lord for finishing, this has to be one of the hardest games I have played, I was a bit tired on my last post! All the problems and solutions are logical, but sometimes it is difficult to know that this bit is a problem that needs solving. I was also a bit miffed about the only problem that isnt really logical, the cave behind the waterfall, surely the pickaxe should work better than the .......?

Ah BUGGER i've just lost all my lives and i think i was on the home straight - got to the big ship - anyway this game is so hillarious i don't mind starting again {yolkfolk}:rofl:

Thanks frogandhat, I think I am missing something - I have numbers, a monkey, crucifix, catapult (not used, though not for lack of trying!), sharp knife (used twice), lighter (not used) and silver jug. I think (according to other posts at a similar stage) I am missing a scaffolding, feather and a candle.

Following your above clues and my limited knowledge of bats and moths, I think maybe the bats would like to eat the moths? and the moths would be attracted to a light source (candle?). I can see a candle at the entrance to the WC and have managed to get behind the picture but then the way ahead is blocked, am I even on the right lines or is this all wasted energy??!! {yolkfolk}:puzzled:

Would the safe be behind a picture by any chance, I think I have tried them all but perhaps not...

Cheers, that's no problem was late, a number of my posts were as I had continued the game early morning and pretty much played most of the day right to the death. Plus as im on holiday part of this week I spent most of the following day trying to get the last few coins, and I needed it just getting the last one with the candle in the evening yesterday. Parts of the game were hard or challenging depending on your view but that's good, thanks for the help earlier on when I was stuck anyway.

Yes true with the item, why I thought I had used that there from memory, prob was that I tried that first.

Oh no starting again, I never like that even if I really enjoy a game, what about your saves, but yes some hilarious parts aren't they, I liked some of them near the end hee hee
