I need to solve both grand dizzy's and possibly his machine - the bog - shopkeeper - dozy - getting under the sea without dying to collect the gem i know is there and the oil - pogie - possibly the wooden floor in the dungeon area - the stiff switch - the witches - the attic and storeroom where i know there is a diamond but something horrible kills me everytime and if it doesn't the bats do - dora and absolutely loads under the cliffs (amarog - reaching the megaphone - obtaining hap root - nettle thicket - bears - dylan - cloud minders).
And is there anything to nullify the effects of the spiders or am i supposed to get seriously hurt obtaining the diamond up there.

I have 16 gems and i know where there are another 6. Still in the same position :cry: Cant do volcano because i die none of my items seem to work on the prickly hedge and i cant find a use for the brick anywhere - cant see any steps that need fixing.
I know the oil can be actioned at the stiff switch but it doesnt do anything but that might be because i took the oil too early ie killing myself to get it.
Right i still can't use these items anywhere on the map open to me:
branch, twigs x3, shiny goblet, warm blanket, hap hap root, pk of roof tiles
still got quite a bit to solve so thinking maybe i need to get all the diamonds for the pirate now? any clues please {yolkfolk}:crazy:

I still have some of those items too which i havent found a use for yet but the haphap root will help you enter a place you couldnt before maybe a trap you have been avoiding up to now.
The branch needs to become a torch but you may not be able to do that safely yet.
In order to solve the prickly hedge you need to start with the Hap-Hap root :smile:
[/quote]Thanks, have hacked it down now but it still keeps prickling me!!! Why?! I can get past it but it seems not without losing a life and I have to go back I assume with something to get past the pesky birds so that means it will kill me again and I have nothing left to eat... :sad:
oh my god am i being really thick or what? i've tried the hap hap root with everything i've got on the prickly bush, the bog of bad luck and the dungeon, which are the places i haven't been but its not working - seems to be working for others - or maybe i haven't got the other item needed, as said before i've actioned everything i've got everywhere: branch, twigs x3 [they won't action by the birds if thats who they're for], shiny goblet, warm blanket, hap hap root [didn't work at prickly bush, bog of bad luck or dungeon], pk of roof tiles
so is it me being a thicko or am i missing an item to help!!!!! {dizzy}:mad:
just need to find something magical.
Not sure what im looking for i tried it items i do have left and no luck. and this is the only puzzle i can find left.. must be a secret but some were.
p.s The witch's wasn't a bug you just have to stand in the correct place for each item,it's different for each one.. and thought there was a big with the Wizard but he needed something else first.
