yeah it's a roll-eyes smilley, meaning something like 'oh for god's sake!'
Oh lol..better remember that, can't it mean your dazed and your eyes roll through being stunned...with the speed..well it does in my use of it {yolkfolk}:raspy:
another screenshot, from the second Galleon:

I haven't done many more rooms these last few days, only about another 3. This is because I've been concentrating on finalising the remaining code, such as the intro, and the 'auto save' feature at the end of each Galleon (which doesn't use save games), so that once you've completed a Galleon, you don't have to keep going back through it each time you play to reach the next one, you can just start at the beginning of the next Galleon instead.
It's faithful to the original Booty, so if you die you start again in the first room of that Galleon, and it is quite easy to fall off a lift if you're not concentrating, or to be blown up by a bomb in treasure.
Don't say you weren't warned, but I will say one thing... it's easier than Booty was...!

I will warn people, you will get frustrated with some points in this game.

Yes, ive been playing this a little whilst in development & can be quite addictive once you get into it. However you will need a lot of patience to do so and plenty of practice to go with the points Jamie mentions, are a few tricks to the game also with can help though. Ive only got around half way on the 1st Galleon (on my best attempt) but that is with a small amount of playing.
It will certainly be challenging for most of us..
can't you save it after each room instead? Yes or yes?
cool

no. {yolkfolk}:raspy:
I'm quite looking forward to playing this something a bit different.
But is it completable or does it just go on like Bubble Trouble?
You didn't mention that specific detail, but we do get that you are rightly proud of what you are achieving with the fantastic DizzyAge engine
Jamie has incorporated a few new things and made some improvements which
certainly improve the gameplay.
I'm finding the hardest part of the game now is where there are 2 'moving variables',
ie a moving lift and a disappearing platform or two moving lifts but going in different
directions, difficult to time to navigate. I lost all my lives on these.
Don't get me wrong, it's quite tough - I was down to my last life (having lost 4), but those lost lives were mainly through impatience or stupidity.
One thing - don't pause the game while on a vertical lift, because sometimes it doesn't pause dizzy and the lift at the same time, which then kills him when it's unpaused.
I just need to test the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Galleons, then it'll be released!
