A Pirate's Life Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Stuck already on 6 collectables.

Have sugar cane, empty bottle, bellows, cutting snips (used once).
Can't seem to get anywhere different now and only place is the combination password, dunno if that is much later in game or i'm supposed to have worked that out.

Sorted out the beach combing.. i love how the lantern works.. Absolutely Brilliant,you can see ALOT of hard work and effort has gone into this game!! i will be playing this all week and beyond at this point!

I got stuck in the water after coming to a stop on the decks,made it out once but not twice,isnt there an Aqua lung, or Scuba Gear anywhere?

Thats good then, I have been underwater and came across some sort of air bubble,but you cant get very far..

my faourite bit though is the lantern in the mines and the mines themselves.. brilliant game making.. and when you die and the man kicks you in the grave its funny!! All new things i love in a Dizzy game.. and the puzzles are baffling as ever!! which is good for the challenge!!

that air bubble will refill your air, so will the air pocket cave. just don't hang about getting back up the ladder

Anyway got tones of items, and been exploring all over the place.. I've got to now gather all by bits and bobs and make a list of jobs i need to do.

I have met and seen the equivalents of Dozy,Grand Dizzy,Dylan,seen Whiskey the Horse,obviously the hotel man,the hogs head landlord,the man in hogs head,the pirate under the docks fishing,the pirate near to Dozy,who Dozy was meant to take off shift.. confused now though,all this stuff and cant think what to do with it..

loving absolutely everything about this game thanks colin - but well stuck now like the others loads of items but not able to use them anywhere thats open to me - i've got:
empty bottle [can't seem to fill that anywhere], sugar cane, cutting snips [used twice], bug repellent, padlock key, flint striker, cool blue rabbit, crazy brown rabbit [thought the cook might want them but no], fluffy white cat, clean bowl, old hatchet, blunt dagger, candle, fuse cord, ornate key and loaded pistol
