Where can i use toothpaste?

You're not wrong, it is a useless item :tongue:
It means i can't earn any points by using it somewhere? I confused by mobygames description (4th screenshot) and thought about toothpaste using on fish.
Oh of course DizzyAGE would add the missing secret like that.
I just spent the past few days reassuring myself about the official versions by loading up Treasure Island Dizzy on Amstrad CPC and dropping the toothpaste on EVERY spot possible to stand on. So far, nothing's happened. Didn't give me points, didn't affect any of the fish, didn't protect Dizzy from anything, and hasn't been able to be used in place of any other objects. So I'm thinking whoever submitted that screenshot to MobyGames was just making up garbage.

I think the caption for that screenshot wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, as it was possibly supposed to be either a gag line or just adding humour describing the screenshot, which is something I often do when sorting out game screenshots for the Yolkfolk site.

If we're talking red herrings, beg pardon for the slight off-topic drift, what about the "Sinclair Abuser Mag"? I seem to recall it being useless, so I assume it is just some in-joke (though I've no idea at whose expense).
The Abuser Mag was useless in a way. But if you drop it underwater, your score goes up.

Makes sense, though they could have made that clearer for me (bearing in mind I had the C64 version) if they'd thought to rename it a "Commodore Abuser Mag" ...
I believe the Sinclair Abuser Mag was from the Crash Special. It's the highest scoring item in the game if you dump it in the ocean, lol.

Hi, geekgirl101.
After dropping the magazine in the ocean and offering the thirty coins to the other guy at the right end of the game area, the highest score is 4,600. The magazine is worth 100 points and the other guy takes 50,000 points maybe as a fee for playing the game.

I'm sure I saw that "scarlet fish" joke first used years ago in the Tips pages of "Your Sinclair" (all-time-great magazine).
