Oh, when you sent me the Email, the zip was missing the setup.exe file so I've added one to the zip I've uploaded onto the site. :smile:

I like the bridge over the skeleton (I wonder where that came from? :tongue: ) but if you fall down, nothing happens - you don't die. You can also jump back up again. Is this right?

I found a blank room!

in the room where Dozy sleeps, you can jump through the window on the right.


In other news, I've been loads of places and found loads of things, but I haven't used anything yet!

Yes the bridge is supposed to do that, you can get an object and a clue down there.

The 'blank room' is I believe, sky.

Yes, you do seem to get a lot of objects fairly quickly, but you should be able to use an item from the first hut.

I th ink this game may need some revision there is no name on some of the areas and there are on others plus some creatures kill you and others do not there are a few other things, witch i will post when i found out what they are.

EDIT: - the room names aren't showing up! I noticed that. It's because there doesn't seem to be a 'roomname' file included with the game map. Rather odd.

Yes the room names arent showing up for some reason, they were OK in the Beta {dizzy}:huh:
EDIT: just seen Delta's post - I amended that file and did send a copy to Meph (albeit i sent the wrong file the first time!) so looks like he forgot to add it back into the zip :sad:

You have managed to find a creature that DOESNT kill you? every one i have touched has had a nibble :x_x:

Just noticed an error i may have introduced :blush: or certainly didnt notice - when you speak to the King the 2nd time, he says he is too "i'll"

There should be 5 files in the 'map' folder, there's only one in this one.

Lots of areas to explore, gathered lots of items but only used one so far, just wandering around all over at the moment, getting lost mainly & can't decide with way to go first lol...

Placed 3 letters in place.

Think I got my first page of the book (as a scroll ?)..

Yes I notice that now, does this stop you progressing then or do you have to do something first ?

oh s**t I've just noticed the room names have bugged up...
I'll see if i can fix it as soon as possible.

And that 'bridge' was quite difficult to do.. lol thought id have a go and suprised i got it working.. gave nice effect :wink:

Sorry i was missing map folders.. lol but their back now, plus i fixed that spelling error.

Room names might be helpful, they give clues as to what 'tale' your working on.

As for the 'monsters' just about all them will 'hurt' dizzy but the Apples will kill him along with over very dangerous things (drowning, lava pits or lighting) Just checked my map and i can't find a harmless spider or bat or anything.. (not too worried if there is one..to be honest)


Your meant to get alitle lost.. (Hansel and Gretal got lost) but if you map it out it's pretty easy, and theres no real order of doing things. while some things have to be done before others there is still plenty of choice what to do first..

Presume saved games don't work on v1.1 at least mine won't load now so do I have to start again or can I continue on v1.0 ?

I doubt saved games will work.
You should be alright with the old version it just seems only the room names were absent but i can't be 100% sure other things hadn't been effected as their were several map files mission. id recommend starting again just in case but it's up to you.

Yes, the King's speech was just a spelling error.

I found it very tricky to get my head around the map too! even once I had got near completion, I was still having trouble remembering where I was going, but as Meph says, it is all really straight forward and mappable.

Well Hansel and Gretal got lost... i could have made it worse.

The map is broken in four sections. all you need to do and make a note which aria of the game is in which section. Even i got confused while testing it . {dizzy}:biggrin:

Map films and the setup file.. LOL i then sent off a black email (forget to add the attachment) Oh dear it's all went wrong. Never mind.

I can get back to playing the other games now.. theres a week left till the deadline.. there must be more games then four???

Gathered lots but not not seemed to have done much otherwise although got the 1st page, grand dizzy says are 17.

I've just got up the tower with Repunzels hair, cool !!
