Back To Magicland (HELP THREAD)

Here's how you solve getting the red crystal:

Drink the stew with the added mushroom to get strong; pick up the ton weight and walk across right hand 'moat reclamation' area to drop down and get the pickaxe; use the pickaxe on the brick wall in the brown castle; pull the exposed lever; go left and now see that a 'stone' moves up and down; jump on and jump right at the top to land on the roof and collect the red crystal.

The blue crystal is hidden in part of the foliage of the 'tree house' complex - just jump around till you can land on a branch.

Been enjoying this game, found all three jewels, got 24 coins but I don't understand how to do the maze. I've looked at all the clues given here, but I'm completely stupid and can't understand it at all.

Sorry zeropolis79, but I've lost all my notes on this game and looking at the coding it seems very complicated. Not sure how to find it, but the entrance halfway up the monolith has two maps of the maze layout - with the second map showing a short cut to the centre. not sure if that is a special clue that needs something solved before that way becomes possible... probably is knowing what my mind is like when making games. But, on the off chance it's only a clue - the second map shows the red entrance, then using the blue door next to the red exit, then a yellow door next to the blue exit takes you to the centre room.

I can only find one map unless I'm missing something.

I finished this one some time ago (great game, Grandad!).

Did you solve the "Moon" puzzle? If not, you need to follow the sun, with assumption that Dizzy start on the North.

IIRC, you needed to go to second level of the monolith(outside). A sound of something moving should be heard.

You need to make your way to the top and touch the background spheres starting with one on the right, then left, then go to lower level again and touch left and then right sphere. Thre should be another sound playing. There should be a key now in the middle level.

To solve the puzzle completly, go to the very, very top of the monolith and try turning the small pyramid untill theres a full moon.

Thanks - I've not even solved the sun part! I'm so stupid, I can't make head nor tail of it.. I've managed to get the sounds you mentioned in order but no key appears
