Noticed that when standing on a branch near the flat - if you carry the weight - it breaks. Is there any other way to get to the flat afterwards?

huh. I've figured the map out - was quite easy really - but the door that *should* go to the middle doesn't. It skips to another door that you can't go back through.
right I'm kinda stuck, quite early on too it seems.

sharp knife,
big stick
cake
holy cross.
can't seem to find anything to use any of them on which will get me further. {yolkfolk}:tired:
Oh and I have 12 coins

no idea how to open the chest

You are really close to the end now, you just have to figure out how to open the chest, I gave some clues earlier, but you do need someones help, someone who hasn't helped you before, quite the opposite in fact :wink:

the troll will open it for another bag of coins, but I don't have a bag for the coins I have.
Sorry, Delta, but I have played it thru a couple of times now (my 7 year old son completed it this morning with me) and you definitely get a 'you have collected all the coins' message at the appropriate time.
So, if you cant find a bag of coins, maybe someone else can help instead?

the 25th coin I got was out of the mouth of one of those troll statues in the ice castle, and it said 'there's a coin in the mouth'. It did not say 'you have found all the coins' or anything similar.
The wizard bloke says to try a key, glenda says she doesn't touch magical stuff anymore, the prince only says it could be one of zaks', and there is no-one else to try!
There is one more character in the game, but it isnt obvious that they can help you as you haven't even spoken to this person before (they may have trouble speaking for some reason) and all they have done is hinder you in the worst way possible :wink:
Maybe as you found one of the 'hidden' coins last, you didnt get the message? I certainly got it when I collected my last coin by the chest, and my son got it with the goat coin.
