It won't be just due to the numbers of consoles that they are releasing this on phones, it will also be due to the market place. I think selling a Dizzy remake to a bunch of people all glued to FPS games may be a hard sell, whereas the phone market is more used to casual games, and puzzle games, so a remake of a twenty year old short game fits better into that marketplace.
I do have an iPad, so am now torn - I do not want to give a penny to Apple (as I may have hinted at in another thread {dizzy}:biggrin: ) , and have played both the original game and the DizzyAge remake for free (and I am a bit of a tight wad!), but I do want Dizzy back..... {yolkfolk}:puzzled:
EDIT just watched the trailer, nice to see the old Speccy being used, but they could have got the loading screen right - they use the correct sound for a screen load, but a screen loaded in 3 sections (with the colours loading at the end), not about 5 or 6 like they did. Sorry to be pedantic, but if you are going to try and make it look right, then make it look right!
