Dizzy vs. The Snow Queen (HELP THREAD)

Look closer at the mechanism, does it look like you can re-use an item on it?
I'm not having any trouble with the house. Yes, the Demon moves outside, which makes passing through easier, but you may need to play your cards right to get out of the back (but there is another way as well), but you should still be able to get into the attic no problem (I certainly can).
Good luck, as I am a little further on with dozens of objects, and trying to work out what to do with them all! I have just realised, that on one game I killed the parrot, but on another I have used up the last of the object I used and he is still frozen. {dizzy}:huh: Hmm, I wonder if I can revive him some other way maybe?

EDIT: no, that didn't work, wasn't allowed to drop him where I wanted to. :sad:
Oh, and beware, you get more demons to avoid once you achieve certain things, for instance getting a friend to Sarlan the lion :sad:

Wow....I got a million items!!! Dunno what to do next!!!?
I got the sextant, gerwains scabbard, doorstop, silver bell, turkish delight, pair of pliers, spanner, levitation spell, pen knife,skull, snow shovel (used once), rangers keys (used thrice), a rope ladder (used numerous), anti freezing potion (can use on fountain if needed??), snow white face powder,frozen parrot, soft rope, 2 x tennis rackets and secateurs. Seen the lion, cant get past the mountain with the vents, been in the wardrobe (maybe need to sort that pic out?)cant get past the two snow ghosts in the hallway. In fact loads I can't do but I cant think of any more!!!!

Yes, this is nearly where I am as well, except I have used one of the items you suspect (and the item you can get from that) and the spade can be used in a second location as well. (there is a clue in my previous post!)
EDIT: got a little further now, well I have managed to get ANOTHER item I don't know what to do with, some netting and got into the locked room and found Edmund but haven't worked out what to do with either yet. Still plugging away though.... :smile:

Yeah, well stuck now!!! Managed to get past Sarlan...not sure what to start looking for or what to do next.
In addition to the items already said about I now got 3 x sticks of Dynamite, some gold coins, a bugle and a dragons tooth. Any hints on where or what to do next??

Scrap that...managed to use 2 items together to produce an effect!!!

Yes, directly above that place!!! And, I just found another place to use them aswell!!! I can't work out how to solve the fella in the location uncovered though? Any tips??

Edit: I'm guessing i need that net you talk of Frog?? Any tips? I am thinking the tennis court maybe?

Just a pointer maybe? I managed to use the dynamite 3 times so far. Where do I concentrate on next? I been in Vonnegurts room? Maybe the observatory? The hallway with the snow demons over what looks like a hatch for a lower level and a front door? Across the volcano?

Hey Nowhere Girl, can't you just wait for the demons to run at you and then follow it back coyley?? Extract the items that way and then place them somewhere else!!

Cheers Noggin but this has not helped me in the slightest? I have used all the items I have got at the foot of the lake. I have tried using the dynamite on the demons...the logic behind this is by using a dead one to freeze the lake? Am I missing an object or am I just missing working out another puzzle so as to uncover the correct object to freeze it??

Using the dynamite on the demons? Man, you'd have to be some sort of coding master to make that work! You're right tho, it's a two-part puzzle. I'll PM you the details if you like...

Yeah, please do!!! In regards to coding master...definately not, you have used all the little amount of knowledge I have in the first 20 or so screens :blush:

Well looks like I'm well behind everybody else as I can only go left as far as the volcanic vents ...but reckon that finding that dynamite might sort out opening the other 'vent'. Found all the rooms in Gawain's castle, but haven't been able to use anything ...yet. Did a restart cos I got down to one life and decided to store all the items in the Ranger's cabin only to read this thread and find that it looks like another one of those pesky demons is going to come back inside ...sigh. Still, the day is young, the weather is crap and I've done all my chores so it's time to load up with different items and check everywhere.

Since Saleh's not the only one stuck there, here's how you get past the lake:

Drop a piece of the giant icicle (Vonnegurt's Room) into the lake

And as a general tip, in the first half of the game, concentrate on the missions: Theo tells you to find Sarlan, Sarlan tells you to find his friends and so on. Follow the trail and don't get distracted by all the different items.
