Dizzy vs. The Snow Queen (HELP THREAD)

I really love this dizzy game {yolkfolk}:thumb: you did a really great job on this game Noggin of the Nog {yolkfolk}:thumb: but sweet Jesus is it hard {yolkfolk}:scared: I am well and truly stuck, I have got to the point where sir gawain asks dizzy to get his sword, but I can’t seem to get in the front garden {yolkfolk}:puzzled: I have tried everything to get the hallway door open :wall: I am still stuck on the third dynamite location, I have used a stick in Catherine’s room to get the blue jewel, and I have used a srtick on the volcano to get to the lake, I have pasted the lake but I don’t know how to get past the tribes people without been struck down by a poison dart :x_x: I do have to say when it comes to mass over kill with the items this game takes the cake {yolkfolk}:rofl:

items I have used, oil, axe – twice, rangers keys – twice, snow shovel – twice, defroster in the red bottle – twice, stone mouse, rope ladder – twice, cure for lion, penknife, dynamite – twice, matches –twice, Turkish delight, pliers, ice magic, I think that is all of them :teethy:  

Items I still have not used, tennis rackets, sarlan’s bugle, spanner, a length of soft rope, a door stop, white face paint, a sextant, a frozen parrot, levitation spell, secateurs, snake charmers pipes, gawains scabbard, dragons tooth, gold coins, some fish, I am sure that is everything.

I have read the full help section and I am still stuck :lol: I assume there must be many red herring items in this game.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :tup:

Well I have finally finished dizzy vs the snow queen {yolkfolk}:yahoo: thank god, this game almost broke me, mentality and physically :x_x: but it was well worth it, I think this is without a doubt the hardest dizzy age game I have had the pleasure of playing {yolkfolk}:jawdrop: a real challenge to finish even with help, I really liked how all the blue jewels you have to collect are not hidden behind all type of plants and railings, that was a real bonus for me, as I hate having to go around checking ever part game to find hidden coins and jewels, it’s a serious pain in the ass :lol: I would also have to say that some of the puzzles in this game where bloody great, even if they was a little too mind bending {yolkfolk}:puzzled: but that could just be down to me been a little dense {yolkfolk}:rofl: the only real problem I had with this game is that if you don’t take the hint at the dwarfs storage hut and don’t end up giving all the dwarfs the right items and then you save the game in all three slots you would never be able to get the hammer to complete the game, having to restart a game all over again is a real pain in the ass :tdown: apart from that I really loved this game {yolkfolk}:yahoo: amazing graphics and an even more amazing story and world {dizzy}:cool: the sapphire glitch in the castle came in really handy for topping up your energy on a regular basis :lol: overall a truly epic dizzy game, you out did yourself with this truly top class game Noggin of the Nog {yolkfolk}:yo: really amazing coding :teethy: what a great way to spent a Sunday afternoon :teethy:

So I started Dizzy vs. The Snow Queen {eggs3}:idea: . And I love it!

So I am at the very end, I can see the Snow Queen and I have the Nemesis Blade. I have no idea what to do When I go towards her she kills me. {eggs2}:help:

In the game "Don't Panic Dizzy" most likely you can't jump over the monster at the airlock?  In the game "Hide & Seek" there's nothing complicated, you just don't ask for advice in passing.

I suggest you pick up the dwarf hammer and try swinging it in every possible direction. Maybe you can guess what you have to hit?

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I made the game over ten years so no, there certainly won't be a sequel. I do have a game I'm still working on from time to time, so maybe I'll finish that one day.

I remember throwing a load of references into the game, including to a Kurt Vonnegut novel (Cat's Cradle). Did you get the Snow White puzzle btw? The items you need in the storehouse each correspond to one of the seven dwarves - a nightcap for Sleepy and so on. I remember being really proud of that one at the time, but I don't think anyone understood it.
