Standstill again!!! Noggin, can you help me a little on the church? Can't seem to get past them demons guarding what seems to be the ice palace??
How do I follow the mouse? I stop seeing him after he goes into the darkness, so inside it's pure hit and miss. This is "help"?!

Try thinking of another way of seeing him without the use of light?? If you still have difficulties, let me know and I will PM you with more of a clue :smile:

Thanks Salehmarley, that was a tough one, so P****d off i didn't have the right item with me when i got through and had to do it again lol - anyway thanks to you i'm at the same place as you and have tried every item i've got there with no luck, so just going over old ground again to see if anything is different - let you know if i get anywhere before Noggin gets back to you {yolkfolk}:eek:
Stuck again!!!! Thanks Saleh for the hints about the dynamite but I've still only managed to use it twice. I'm now stuck at the lift. Can't seem to make anything work so if someone could give me a hint I'd be really grateful. Great game though and it was brilliant when Sir Gerwain killed the frost demon, one less at least!!
could someone give me a hint about finding edmund?? I have made it into vonnegurts room, but no further. help appreciated!

Hey Saleh,
I'm guessing you need a certain magic item you haven't found yet. It's hidden high up somewhere. Try finding a use for the snake charmer's pipes.

oh dear....i havent come across any footprints. im clearly very far behind everyone and denser than dense!!!
As for following the mouse (he's not a rat; before he was brought back to life, it was said clear: "stone mouse"): no idea so far. I took advantage of someone else getting stuck and I think I'll need to return for some item before calling the mouse again, but anyway no idea. Seeing his silhouette like I can see the spikes or whatever that is when I fall down? All I know the inventory is disabled in this place...
EDIT: OK, I got it. Let's try now...

*Carrot & orange tomato risotto, my own recipe - I was pretty sure orange tomatoes are now completely gone until spring, but I found some. And now even ordinary red tomatoes are so expensive (and much less tasty too) that I stopped buying tomatoes and started buying tomato passata instead (like I always do in late fall and winter)...

Getting into the Storehouse should be easy if you have the key! Does the entrance look a little smaller than man-size?
Ok still stuck on the lift. Have used the broom handle but can't make it work as a ratchet so can't shift the lift to get back up. Have I missed something and what are the springs that nowhere girl mentioned? Getting a bit fed up with it now! Please could I have a hint.
You are so close, for a ratchet you need a spring loaded wedge shape

Thank you Frog and Hat. I've used the doorstop but can't find anything springlike at all (I tried the tennis racquets with no success). Could I have a clue about the springs PLEASE.
Sparkles - there are some springs very close to where you need them, but there appears to have been a rockfall
NowhereGirl - someone will give you the key - there is a clue in the room name! - when you give them something they want. If I recall the conversation you had with them earlier they said they didn't need it, but it must have been a bit of a fib. The only things I found to give Gerwain were the fish and scabbard, but neither did anything long term, as I could never give him enough of the former and when he disappears, he left behind the latter! Still, I luckily found a better use for the former :wink:

You are right, he wants a rod to catch some fish, but there doesn't appear to be one around. So, maybe you could give him something else that can be used instead?
